I saw this somewhere else and it seemed like fun, so I’m borrowing it for Joon’s birthday. Happy RM Day!

We all know two things Joon enjoys are listening to music and working out ~~shirtless~~. If he asked you to curate a work out playlist for him, what would you add? Something that would pump him up or with lyrics that would motivate him? Something with a beat that he could count pull-ups to? Answers can be serious or silly, non-BTS or BTS (maybe Joon likes working out to his own songs!).

Reaching way back into the vault for my pick. It’s a song that was popular before a lot of you were born but it still stands the test of time for a work out playlist. The one, the only…[Eye Of The Tiger](https://youtu.be/btPJPFnesV4?si=uhj3SlqtqYKHKKSU) by Survivor. I think Joon would appreciate the motivational lyrics and 80s vibe, and the beat is perfect for keeping up a steady work out rhythm. 😌

So what song or songs would you add to Joon’s Workout Playlist?

^((I’m not secretly creating my own workout playlist from your answers…))

  1. Dang! By Mac Miller and Anderson Paak.
Not a “beast mode” song but still upbeat for a chill workout session, I can totally imagine him vibing to it between sets.

  2. I feel like he’d appreciate the early 90s hip-hop classics.

Get some Bell Biv Devoe (now you know) in there. Poison or Do Me. Maybe some Salt N Peppa to really PUSH IT into high gear.

On the complete opposite end of the spectrum, once upon a time my go to treadmill songs were The Prodigy’s Firestarter and Smack My B*tch Up. 🔥

ETA: Wow I’m really showing my age aren’t I? 😆

  3. Rock of Ages – Def Leppard
Around the World – Daft Punk
    Children – Robert Miles
    Freestyler – Bomfunk MC’s
Weapon of Choice – Fatboy Slim
    Insomnia – Faithless
King of My Castle – Wamdue Project
We Will Rock You/Don’t Stop Me Now – Queen
    Rasputin/Ma Baker – Boney M
Living on a Prayer – Bon Jovi
Dancing in the Dark – Bruce Springsteen
Hip Hop Hooray – Naughty by Nature
    Maniac – Michael Sombello
Gonna Make You Sweat – C&C Music Factory (better known as Everybody Dance Now)
    Push It – Salt-N-Pepa
    Tainted Love – Soft Cell
Kiss – Prince and the Revolution
Don’t Fear the Reaper – Blue Oyster
I went with the songs that got beats because that’s usually what gets me to move. ~~I may or may not have pulled them from my own list.~~ And the song that’s on my workout list: Baepsae – BTS 😀

  4. kitty_mckittyface on

Arson is a great workout song (speaking from personal experience)

    “Let’s burn, burn, burn”

Then you finish and “it’s done”

[Electrical Callboy – Pump It](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=OnzkhQsmSag&pp=ygUYRWxlY3RyaWMgY2FsbGJveSBwdW1wIGl0) [The song is literally about working out with innuendos]

[Electrical Callboy – We Got The Moves](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=D1NdGBldg3w) [Same speed and feeling like the Pump It Track, just with a Summer Party Mood]

[Electrical Callboy – Pump It Velvet Remix](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=q4H-4jEuhkY) [if you’re feeling tired the Velvet Remix is for coming down and going slow; I like the song and it’s versions way too much~~]

[Eric Prydz – Call On Me](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SMrlanOZNEE) [I don’t know whether RM does dance cardio or not but who knows~!]

[Michael Gray – Weekend](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=PMXjC6ZpNr4&pp=ygUYbWljaGFlbCBncmF5IHRoZSB3ZWVrZW5k) [another dance cardio like track]

    Kpop Tracks f.e.

    [f(x) – Step](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=jLyRVYby-Gg&pp=ygUHRlggc3RlcA%3D%3D) [it’s perfect and I’m so biased]

[EXID – Hot Pink Areia Remix](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=2Cno75Rs9e4&pp=ygUTRXhpZCBob3QgcGluayBhcmVpYQ%3D%3D) [Superior Remix, and the lyrics ‘push push work it out’ fits the bill!]

[Enhypen – Future Perfect (Pass the Mic) ](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=I4yPQGSgNxk) [I’ll forever associate this track with the gym and workout because of an EN- Member sing-screaming this song in the Hybe Gyms in a funny way! ]

  6. Rage Against the Machine has some truly great workout music, I just put a long playlist on shuffle for cardio.
