Oof, poor kid – he seemed talented on LASTART and worked hard to get into the group, but the industry can be so brutal on your health, so this seems like the right decision – hope he recovers well!

I’m so shocked. I really hope he recovers well. I thought he only had problems with his passport when he was absent in NCT Nation.
This reminds me of Shohei all over again. Jungmin is my bias in the new unit. I’m so heartbroken but I’m praying for his speedy recovery.

Oh this is sad. He’s so talented, a future powerhouse vocalist in the making. I had a feeling something is up because he hasn’t been seen for over a month now. To actually get picked to debut, name and face already revealed to the world, but have to make this decision must be heartbreaking. I wish him well.

This….saddens me. During the show LASTART, he is the first trainee that I really liked. He may be nervous at times during and after performances but he still stood out. You can’t NOT notice and love him. I wish him the best of health and future. I really hope he debuts one day.
It’s such a shame that he won’t be in the new Unit especially when he trained for 3 years too. I love his vocals. I love his own charm. It’s just that….I was rooting for him a lot. I already have a soft spot for him.
Still…I will support NCT New Team since I know they have potentials to be successful. The news about Jungmin is still fresh (it basically just came out). So, I’m obviously very sad about that.
(I’m trying to avoid thinking bad things about SM cause Jungmin may really be unwell. I just wish him the best life.)

Jungmin is their main vocalist and only Daeyoung left now. Daeyoung needs to work harder to fill the main vocalist role because he only trained for 3 months (even tho he’s really good already but he needs more training to be on the same level as other SM vocalists). I think either Yushi or Sion will share the burden with him for challenging vocal parts. Hopefully they will do more harmonies tho.
Gosh, they haven’t debuted yet but we got a member leaving already. I’ve been trying to stay positive all these times but I guess his health issue was so serious that he decided not to debut with them and return to being a trainee. He was pushed a lot during Lastart as a main vocalist.
I wish all the best for Sion, Riku, Yushi, Daeyoung, Ryo, and Sakuya. Get well soon, Jungmin. I hope to see you debut with the other Lastart trainees.

Oof. That’s gotta be painful for him. It must be serious. The statement says he’s going back into the trainee pool, but then when is he gonna debut… Can’t they put him in the team later?

I’m so sad and frustrated I wish they could have put him on hiatus or added him after he recovers like Red Velvet Yeri for example!!!

He was my first pick and someone I had a soft spot for since the beginning when he listed Sticker as his favorite NCT song. Neo blooded from the start. I am obviously sad to see him not be part of the team after doing all the hard work and being less than a month away from their tour.
Wish the rest of the members the best of luck because his vocals were a huge plus for the team. He is extremely talented, and I hope we see him debut with the other LASTART trainees and Shohei in the future. I will be waiting for them!
