From the mod team:

This is really the last post. ~~I’ve been working on it for hours now.~~ Big shoutout once again to u/mjn947 for providing us with all this incredibly useful information!

Once again, *NOTE: The mod team does not have personal experience with ticketing for Japan events, so we are unable to answer questions not addressed by this post.* However, you can see if your question was addressed in comments of [the original post](https://www.reddit.com/r/seventeen/comments/13vflxj/comprehensive_guide_to_ticketing_in_japan/) or ask in the Weekly Carat Corner. *Please do not directly PM* u/mjn947 *to ask them questions.*

This is Part 3 of a comprehensive post about ticketing in Japan for Seventeen, covering signing up for Japan membership/CARAT mobile, ticketing for concerts and fanmeetings, and making reservations at the Seventeen Museum, the Seventeen Cafe, and pop-up stores. Many of these events use the same type of ticketing system. Every event is posted on [the official Seventeen Japan site](https://www.seventeen-17.jp/), and [the Seventeen Japan Twitter](https://twitter.com/pledis_17jp?s=20) announces events and posts links when it is time to ticket.

# V. Seventeen Cafe ticketing

**The smaller Japan-exclusive events, like Seventeen Museum and Cafe, happen once or twice a year.** Each time it happens, there is a new webpage created for it. At the cafe, you can purchase themed merch, get freebies, and enjoy member-specific snacks/drinks. The museum is also themed and has interactive exhibits and merch for sale. **Reserving a slot requires about ¥800+ in fees.**

The following example for getting Seventeen Cafe tickets will be based on the [2022 Winter Camping event](https://www.seventeen-17.jp/posts/information/knhxtg).

## A. Account creation

**First, you’ll have to make an account with the company that runs the cafes (hubsynch).** **Navigate to the cafe site (will be something like seventeen-cafe-eventname.jp: check with the** [**official Japan Twitter**](https://twitter.com/pledis_17jp) **for details).** Press the “新規登録” button on the top right-hand corner to create a new account.

https://preview.redd.it/o3dqd4i28lyb1.png?width=1208&format=png&auto=webp&s=3726d7afd5a6d4fcc2e7a76eed37b4c1810ccac7

The first page is Terms and Services, accept these. The site will ask you for your email, and will then take you to the account details page.

https://preview.redd.it/flwynfb58lyb1.png?width=1222&format=png&auto=webp&s=7837872e97857f57ae94c89d4b9e930025988285

https://preview.redd.it/ihc52wx78lyb1.png?width=1470&format=png&auto=webp&s=9a22bdfb71b92a2c06cafcd92f0edcaf31a1a0ef

**NOTE: You can use an international phone number in the form.**

After completing the form, you will be taken to the information confirmation page next, where you should make sure everything is correct. Press the “完了ぺージへ” button.

https://preview.redd.it/gj4i8lwd8lyb1.png?width=1084&format=png&auto=webp&s=5d549c27d84be9e004fb156a3d1e0abc60a38b8a

**And you’re finished! Now you can make a reservation at the cafe.**

## B. Making reservations

The [official Japan Twitter account](https://twitter.com/pledis_17jp) will announce when the reservation period starts. **It is highly encouraged to make a reservation**: although walk-in acceptance varies from location to location, it is generally highly unlikely, even if someone cancels their reservation.

Weekends and Friday evenings fill up very fast, so if you can’t go on weekdays, get to reservations right when they open! For less popular times, you can sometimes still make reservations even the day before.

**To make the reservation, on the cafe site (seventeen-cafe-eventname.jp), hover over the ‘Reservation’ tab and pick the store you want to go to.** Here are the available locations for this cafe:

https://preview.redd.it/g43tmjkj8lyb1.png?width=924&format=png&auto=webp&s=fc3a9637e3142c005bec99c2ce8ddc690ecd8421

Scroll to the “予約表” section and you will see the available dates.

https://preview.redd.it/kgmbcojq8lyb1.png?width=1160&format=png&auto=webp&s=2b5aa7e18d77d31d7c945239132c54d5f127f653

**The key will indicate if the date has many seats left (残席あり), a few seats left (残りわずか), or is full (満席). Seeing “予約受付終了” indicates that the reservation period has closed.**

When you click on the date you will see the available times. Pick your time, how many people you want (up to two pax), and finish the registration. It will send you a confirmation email with your selected cafe/date/time/attendees/cost.

Once again, you can pay by card or pay at a convenience store.

If you choose to pay at a convenience store, it will also have the number you need to input into the machine to pay at the store. You usually get random goods when you go as well, so it will tell you that too.

## C. On the day of

**On the day of your reservation, show up about 5-10 minutes early.** People will start lining up then too. The staff will go down the line and confirm your tickets. **Go to “My Page” on the cafe website and click the “予約済みのチケットを表示する” button.**

https://preview.redd.it/fvww6bc39lyb1.png?width=1798&format=png&auto=webp&s=1c8a6c46239f5485a5a5d1fd637cd06d43105065

**The page will present a QR code that the staff will scan.** When it has gone through, the webpage will change, so you can’t just use a screenshot of the QR code! You need to be on a web browser.

Below is an example of what the webpage looks like after being scanned. When you enter the cafe or when you sit down, you will get to randomly draw your benefits! For this cafe, it was a random plastic card and a card case.

https://preview.redd.it/lvw9dg4d9lyb1.png?width=1780&format=png&auto=webp&s=a80e38afe5e382d9f30a0c7af51123978f7c1af3

>Additional preparation tips from OP:
>
>**Study the menu and things beforehand, as when you line up the staff will give you a clipboard where you pick what you want to eat and drink.** Each of the members have a meal, and there are also drinks with coasters. You pick which member you want on the coaster when you select your drink.
>
>The staff will also give you small cards with numbers on them when you sit down. They will call each number up to 4 at a time to go to the merch area and purchase what you want. **This is your one time to grab merch – you can’t go back up, so choose wisely and quickly!!**
>
>*A comment from OP:* **If you’re brave, you can try to trade with other Carats at the cafe for your bias.** You can usually see whose bias is whose because of the photocards and merch each person brings. I love going to the cafes, it’s so fun to see other Carats and enjoy the cafe with them 🙂 They play music videos and a video that the sebongies shot for the cafe, they tell you to have fun and talk about the theme of the cafe. If you have the chance to, please go!! Have fun! 🙂

# VI. Seventeen Museum ticketing

Like with the cafe, if you want weekend/Friday night tickets for the museum, get reservations early!

**Museum tickets are on** [**Lawson Ticket**](https://l-tike.com/)**.** After logging in, you will go through the same process as you would with [purchasing concert tickets](https://l-tike.com/en/howto.html). **These tickets are usually ¥650.** Make sure you pick the right venue! They have merch for the museum, and there is a random draw when you enter for one bromide picture of a member. Because this process is the same as the concert tickets, please refer to the concert ticket section if you need help there!

Information about the museums are announced on the official Japan Twitter! [This was the page](https://www.seventeen-17.jp/posts/information/lzzacj) for the 2022 museum, which provided the link to the event application page on Lawson. The links are listed by venue:

https://preview.redd.it/7nmjxgdjalyb1.png?width=1456&format=png&auto=webp&s=6ae5f548a705d3b9bcddc49c4e89cba0c3c2c355

Besides buying tickets online, you can also buy tickets when you get to the museum, but they may turn you away if the time slot is filled.

# VII. Pop-up store ticketing

**When there is a comeback and/or before a concert, there are Pop-up Stores.** There you can buy albums, concert merch, and other things, and it’s a great photo spot to take pictures. Similar to the cafe and museum, you need to move quickly to book slots on the weekend and Friday night. **Entry is free of charge.**

This example will use the [pop-ups for the 2023 ‘Love’ Fanmeet](https://www.seventeen-17.jp/posts/information/iekyvj).

**Tickets for the pop-ups are distributed by Weverse Ticket: the official Japan Twitter/Japan site will provide the links for you to go register.**

On the announcement page, **find the exact date, time slot & location of the pop-up store you want to go to, and click “来店のご予約はこちら” to make your reservation.**

https://preview.redd.it/hum13wqqblyb1.png?width=2172&format=png&auto=webp&s=c027fde5de47487fe8f1219f668efaf0c46fe672

On the next page, press “お申込に進む” to confirm the details for your selected pop-up.

https://preview.redd.it/e9wzxncublyb1.png?width=1698&format=png&auto=webp&s=aa8d7b96f41a0e918f8017b94bf47c190363bee7

After confirming, you will be taken to the Weverse login. After logging in, scroll to the bottom of the page, accept terms of service, and click the ‘お申込に追む’ to continue on with your registration.

https://preview.redd.it/t7sqlzd2clyb1.png?width=1462&format=png&auto=webp&s=da9dd025226a1a6af015f07d6484b5bc21e2c574

The next page asks for your information!

https://preview.redd.it/b7sq50r7dlyb1.png?width=1242&format=png&auto=webp&s=d7bdfb7d7032cbed546b3ed7c895d2da1cbee136

https://preview.redd.it/66cfnxbadlyb1.png?width=1610&format=png&auto=webp&s=4282ebdb60b3912ef96bcc68043f65dd62eb7898

After you confirm your details, you will go to the ticket selection page. Because the shop is finished in our example, we can’t see the dates and times anymore, but you can look for the following headers next time:

https://preview.redd.it/ir226y4kdlyb1.png?width=1540&format=png&auto=webp&s=3b8b45711e99391a48c08df433b530a7b8c8acac

**The page will show you available dates (日程) and times (时刻). Under “申込枚数”, you can select how many tickets you want (# 枚, up to 2 per slot), then press the “チケット予約に進む” button to get your tickets.**

**Be quick with your picks – you don’t have to pay to get into the pop-ups, but slots go so fast!**

All you have to do is turn up for your slot and queue to enter the SVT pop-up store!

>Mod Note: I’ve noticed that [Weverse Ticket has their own ticketing site](https://www.weverse-ticket.online) and it looks slightly different compared to the screenshots above on first glance so I’ll just add that info in.

# VIII. Summary

## General info!

* For ticketed events, you only need a Lawson Ticket account at the very least. However, you will need either a fanclub membership or CARAT mobile account to apply for premium/VIP seats.
* The registration information should match across all those accounts (i.e. name on the account needs to match the name on the ticket and the name on your passport/other government-official ID)
* Event application info ≠ account registration info, but generally do your best to match the information on your event applications to what you entered for your Lawson Ticket/fanclub/Carat mobile registration.
* You can create multiple Lawson Ticket accounts with the same address but different phone numbers to increase your lottery chances, but each account will need its own fanclub/Carat mobile membership.
* If you are having issues with the sites, try using a VPN set to Japan.
* Tickets do not need to be purchased for the Seventeen Cafe, Museum, or pop-up stores, but reservations need to be made.
