    **Official statement from JYP Entertainment:**

    >Ahead of their contract expiration early next year, all Stray Kids members Bang Chan, Lee Know, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N renewed their contracts. Stray Kids, who is showcasing unique music and powerful performances in the global music market, and JYP, who led and planned the journey of their growth, completed contract renewals based on strong trust and with high aspirations for the future.

    Let’s go, Stray Kids!!!🥳

  2. Oh wow, I didn’t even know their contract was expiring. Good for them, though I always thought they would stay with JYP

Love to see it! And it’s interesting how early renewals are becoming somewhat common in recent years. BTS, Seventeen and Twice also renewed early.

  4. Act surprised everyone.

I bet with all the recent news, JYPE stockholders are very happy.

Nice! Not surprising by any means, but I’m still glad we got an early confirmation, just so the date doesn’t hang over everyone’s head.

JYP/Divison 1 are obviously doing something right if the guys have all decided to continue.

I hope their new contract helps with the growth not only as artists, but as actual humans.

Oh I’m so happy for everyone, not that I had any doubts. Congrats to Stray Kids, Stays and the label. Excited to see what new heights they can achieve in the future! ❤️

AAYY, not necessarily a fan but I love them a lot so I am happy they are gonna continue together.

Stray kids seem like they really love being idols and performing so I don’t think this is the gonna be the only renewal we will get from them!

  9. I feel like JYPE and SM has reversed in terms of artist lineup recent years. Just years ago many of JYP’s older 2nd & 3rd guard left the company (Chansung, Yubin, Hyerim, Jamie, Yerin, Ayeon, Bernard, Jae), and had few artists remaining, and SM boasted a massive lineup spanning 1st-4th gen. Now JYPE’s debuted a lot more groups and retained Day6, Twice and now SKZ for a pretty rocksolid lineup, and SM lost tons of their 2nd & 3rd gen artists within the past 2 years for various reasons.

Anyways, pretty good news for JYPE that their current two biggest groups have stayed on, especially Stray Kids is on a high right now. Between this and the Deadpool 3 news it’s been a good day.

This is great news for the group + JYPE.

Division 1 has been doing a great job (at least, relative to the other Divisions lol) and it seems the members are happy. Letting the members cook was the best thing that could’ve happened to Stray Kids, and they haven’t looked back since.

If those 2024 analyst* reports were true about these contract negotiations, it might mean we hear about another JYPE group’s contracts pretty soon. Fingers crossed we get more good news.

People could say many stuff about JYP, a lot of stuff, but JYP artist really like their CEO. Even if they leave the company, they will stay in contact and hang out together often.

  12. I’m not surprised they are renewing their contract, I’m surprised that it’s this early. I was expecting probably at the end of this year. They all have hinted that they are going to stay in the group, and I’m so happy for them 😁

  13. There ain’t no last Step Out 🥹 excited for many more years with my ult group

This is fantastic news! Can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next. 🎉

  15. I take it that means they’ll be taking home a much bigger portion of the upcoming comeback and world tour profits 💸

  16. Not that I was worried, but it’s still such a relief to have confirmation. Reveal of being on the Deadpool soundtrack and now contract renewal in the same day, feels good STAYs!

  17. YAY! I want to go to their concert still so really excited to hear more of their cool songs!
