“VOGUE: What’s the best and most challenging part of living in the “Jang Wonyoung era”?
Jang Wonyoung: I’ve always believed since I was young that ‘Jang Wonyoung is Jang Wonyoung’.I’m really happy that it turned out as I imagined. I have no regrets.”
“VOGUE: Have you ever failed?
Jang Wonyoung: No. I’m still young.”
I love these answers, too. I really admire her mentality and confidence.

Damn the question openly talking about body management and food intake
And the “you’re pretty” question

I fear I cried a bit when she said Lollapalooza was her most shining career moment. Loved the love for her Mom too and the “restriction” response ending with I’m eating meat after this 🤍

GOD, she is a force. I believe that irregardless of the path she took in life, she’s always been destined for greatness. A mentality like hers can only speak to how much love and support she’s grown up with. So strong, but also kind and graceful. I see it in her sister as well. Hats off to Mama and Papa Jang, they raised two phenomenal women!!

>VOGUE: Is there a gap between the Jang Wonyoung
that fans expect and the Jang Wonyoung that you want to be?
>Jang Wonyoung: Not really. Our ‘DIVEs’ will love me
just as I am. I have that trust in them.
Now that’s something notable. Some of us have been following ever since Produce 48, and even if the haters say that she has changed, it’s become very evident that she has just grown up, as someone would expect.
People who say that they miss the “old Wonyoung” are simply looking over the fact that the “old Wonyoung” was a 13 to 17 year old child in a group where she was the youngest.
Obviously a teenager is gonna act differently than a 20 year old. That’s just how it is.
Fortunately, the majority of the fans have realized that. I see people especially mentioning her laugh, which I can only describe as “throws-head-back-and-very-loud”.

I’ve always had a lot of respect for wony . She has an amazing mindset and never fails to make me proud with how well she handles things and her confidence in herself. I hope she continues to have a fulfilling and wonderful life while doing the things she wants .
