    >Their agency, Cube Entertainment, announced on the 2nd, ‘We have removed the “G” from the group name, which was previously used as (여자)아이들 and (G)I-DLE. With this, they have reestablished their identity as a group that cannot be defined by ‘여자,’ ‘G,’ or any other gender,’. Cube added in a statement, ‘At the same time, they will also remove parentheses, a symbol used to distinguish or emphasise different parts, and showcase more limitless music and concepts.’

    >Along with this, they also unveiled the new logo and symbol. The logo, consisting of the lowercase letter ‘i d l e’, is an expanding dot in the form of a circle and is a structural design to symbolise the infinite possibilities and organic connections of i-dle. In particular, the symbol of the five I’s coming together to form a star symbolises the five members, each with their own individuality, coming together to become one unified group of i-dle.

  2. My guess was right, cz throwback to tomboy “man nor woman”, G defined girls, but they said in tomboy that music shoukd not be labelled and it is for everyone
