  1. Oh shit here we GOOOOOOOO

Edit: It’s fun. Some SUPER aggressive cinematography and choreo (or rather just fighting the fuck outta each other. hahahaha) The tommy hilfiger looking breaks are so funny. I’m excited to see a performance version because we see so little choreo, but I think the video excels from that.

Vibes are the exact kind of crazy I want. Yuqi’s tones on the rap is perfect. I usually dislike autotune but they leaned into it in a great way.

2:30 ish is still too short. I wish there was a bit more. But I’m immmensely more satisfied than my first watch or two of Girlfriend which ultimately grew on me but the video in itself didn’t feel as distinguishable as Wife as a prerelease, and this has the title track oomph in the video.

And of course, EVERYONE looks good.

  2. Imagine my surprise when Yuqi and Miyeon started to kill each other.

BUT THE SONG IS SUCH A BOP LIKE I AM MOVINGGGG. *Baby I heard you are good thing*

I lost it at Miyeon pushing Yuqi off the train. Soyeon is absolutely lethal with her fit and styling. The violence, the whole MV direction really is peak.

It has all the makings of a classic i-dle banger. Kinda like TOMBOY on crack. It’s not among my favorite Title Tracks (yet), but can’t get that pre-chorus and chorus off my head and the point choreo is fire. I also loved the Yuqi rap!

question, so was the “for (G)” thing just like a whole separate concept from this album? i think i had gotten excited for some kind of horror/cult/fallen angel type of MV and then both Girlfriend and this turned out to not be that at all. still love the song but it’s totally different from what i was expecting based on the first concept material that was released leading up to the album

We are soooo fucking back. Phenomenal comeback. Can’t wait to check the album. i-dle simply never disappoints, they’ve really done it again.

It is so nostalgic to 2nd gen sound and I LOVE IT, I need Soyeon to just keep dropping bangers I know she has a lot stored in her vault lol

  7. Self-deprecation, irony, satire, ludicrousness – it’s very them. Attacking capitalism as well as empty relationships (and men ofc!)?

I could be wrong, but the extreme auto-tune is meant to be hideous?

It’s certainly the dirtiest car park in kpop.

I don’t like it but presume it will grow on me massively.
