  1. English Translation:

Hello, we are Starship Entertainment. We sincerely thank LUVITY for always caring for CRAVITY.

Based on the challenges and growth in the five years since our debut, CRAVITY is about to face a new turning point. Accordingly, we re-established the team’s identity and refined themeaning of its official logo and team name.

As part of this change, CRAVITY welcomes Wonjin and Hyeongjun as new leaders. We deeply appreciate Serim for leading the team for a long time.

CRAVITY will approach LUVITY with deeper music and messages under the new system. Please continue to give us warm support.

    Thank you. Starship Entertainment

I think it’s nice that there’s two leaders, it puts less responsibility on one member to lead everything

So this is crazy, but I at least am happy that it means Starship is actually redefining their concept because that has always been I think one of their biggest challenges as a group. A full rebrand is a lot but I think it’s a good sign. I absolutely am mind blown about no more leader Serim, and that is going to take a lot of getting used to. But if it was what they felt was needed then I’m happy for them and I hope this new direction is what helps them achieve further success. I’m curious to see how it will work with two leaders, but I think Hyeongjun and Wonjin already do a lot of heavy lifting in the group anyway particularly Hyeongjun so they’re not completely out of left field choices. I absolutely cannot imagine how it has been keeping the rebrand and a complete of the group to themselves this long.

Edit: ngl some tears have been shed but that’s okay, I just hope Serim feels okay about this and maybe that it’s lessened some of the pressure on him because I think all Luvities know they’ve been under an insane amount of pressure these last few years. Regardless my support for them is unwavering no matter what direction they go in and I hope this lets them reach their full potential. They are so talented and they deserve to be known by every kpop fan and if this is what it takes to reach that I’m right there with them forever.

Yes, because replacing the leader will fix everything the Apple documentary revealed.

Yet again starship takes no responsibility and fails to acknowledge how badly these boys have been treated and blamed for their failure, despite starship having no clear direction for them from the start.

Will they also fire the horrific managers from the documentary who put the boys down constantly?

Well, this is something. Changing the leader after five years is a big thing not just for fans, but also for the members themselves. It’s gonna take sometime to get used to Serim not being leader anymore, but at least we’ll remember him leading CRAVITY through their early years of essential growth and rise.

I haven’t religiously followed Cravity for a long long time, so can any fans give a reason as to why this is happening five years in? I’ve heard the Apple documentary’s revelations might be a reason but I’m not sure.
