I wanted to share the news that the MIN YOONGI TREATMENT CENTER received 200M KRW in private donations within the first 24 hours!
Following the announcement, the external cooperation office of the Yonsei University Health System, which operates the hospital, was flooded with inquiries from BTS fans, known as ARMY, as well as members of the public wanting to participate.
In response, the office added a "Min Yoon-gi Treatment Center" option to its official donation page. Donations surpassed 100 million won within 6 1/2 hours, reaching 200 million won by Tuesday morning.
International ARMY members have also shown strong interest in supporting the initiative on social media. Hospital officials anticipate that total donations will rise significantly once international bank transfer options become available.
May this be just the beginning.

This is giving me goosebumps again, Yoongi and ARMY are really amazing!
The video about Yoongi today was already so moving, but it’s so amazing that he already inspired so many more people to donate in so little time! I like to imagine this makes him really happy.
This kind of impact will change so many lives for the better, raising awareness and giving actual help is really really important.

Anyone know of any good organizations to support in the US? Would the Autistic Self Advocacy Network be a good one to donate to?
I have seen international fans collecting it too I will share link as soon as I find those.
friendly PSA to i-armys who want to donate to autism organizations in yoongi’s name: there are some organizations centered around autism that are extremely harmful (i.e. autism speaks and other orgs which seek to “cure” or “eradicate” autism). do your research to make sure they have a similar mission to yoongi’s! 🙂 also check with your local orgs! they often lack the most funding
