good things we okay!! probably my fave ep from them in a while it’s so fun and cute
I really like this its fun! Glad we got a “Stayc girls its going down” on the EP (I know its a single album but its 3 songs so its an EP). I dont think its as good as S on my first impression (and tbh Bebe is one of my surprise songs of the year) but this felt more summery and was still very solid and keeping with the new Stayc sound.
I will say though Boy is probably one of my fave Stayc songs in forever on early impressions (bar BEBE) and that banjo guitar melody is killer.
I think the main thing people have to realize (they spoke about this when I saw Stayc live 2 weeks ago) but they aren’t the same people who made the earlier cute concept/Teen Fresh anymore and they want to make more mature stuff as they are older now (which is a problem I think many GGs such as Twice and Currently IVE and Stayc are facing where the fans may have only tuned in for the cute concept but the girls want to go in a different lane, which I find Boy groups dont get the same backlash for).
Personally I think Stayc suit the more mature songs and overall I prefer them (and after seeing basically the entirety of Metamorphic live, a grossly overhated album) I think they have found their lane, even if they aren’t at the (commercial) highs of Stereotype and ASAP anymore.
Strong release – TT was a bop and the B-sides were stellar!
Honestly was the standout for me; city pop is my weakness and I feel like it complements STAYC’s vocal colours so well. The saxophone outro just scratched my brain in all the right places.
Really solid EP!
I could listen to Isa’s last line in I Want It on a loop from now to death.
Only regret about seeing them live this month is that it was before this EP and I can’t experience these performed in front of me. God damn. I can’t decide if I like BOY or Honestly more.

honestly i really enjoy this even if it doesn’t top S for me (which is probably one of my top releases this year so idk if it’ll ever be dethroned.) it’s really nice and summery!
“Boy” might be one of my favorite STAYC b-sides, something about that song is so good. The buildup to the chorus is nice. I love the saxophone solo in “Honestly” too, reminds me of songs from nostalgic vaporwave groups like The Midnight.
