this is a really nice summary of his dallas shows, i enjoyed reading this a lot. i think this paragraph summed up his concerts as a whole well:
> The culmination of that work is his RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR, an amalgamation of everything Jin excels at: powerhouse vocals, charming banter and a sense of humor that’s made him beloved the world over. Each concert is framed as an episode of “Run Jin,” complete with interactive audience games like charades and name that tune. It’s an ingenious setup, and one that keeps the momentum of the concert from ever waning — sometimes through Jin’s sheer force of will.
i smiled fondly reading this description of jin 😂
> The tension between Jin’s confidence and self-consciousness is one of his most intriguing qualities. Most of the time, he vigorously embraces his status as “Worldwide Handsome,” his longtime nickname that’s also on the tour merch he frequently wears in day-to-day life. But when he took off his jacket to whoops and hollers during the Dallas show, he immediately seemed embarrassed, quickly switching the tone back to comedic. It’s hard to tell where Worldwide Handsome ends and Seokjin begins, and there’s something fascinating about looking for the real person behind the superstar status.
the writer is definitely an ARMY with the references back to BTS and the other members, which i really appreciated.
> There may not be a way to reconcile “Super Tuna” with the next BTS album, but each man’s distinctiveness has always been their strength. Their personalities, their skills and their musical tastes often diverge, and the combination of those unusual pieces was one of the keys to their rise to superstardom. When BTS does return to Texas, they’ll be all the better if they hold onto the gifts displayed so clearly that night by Jin: his absurdity, his audacity and his commitment to living in the moment.
Or, as he put it after thousands of phones went back into pockets, “Just jump with me.”
