Twicepalooza was AWESOME!!!!!! Freaking amazing! In general, my first Lolla experience yesterday was great. I was sooooo nervous because of so many posts about bad crowds and mean people but every set I went to was fantastic. Clairo especially—I knew way more songs than I thought I did and it was just a blast! I arrived around 3 to see the last of Boa’s set and I got a decent spot that I almost just stayed in for the night but I began to feel ill so I left and refreshed myself.
I saw Fujii Kaze after that (AMAZING!!!) and then I went to Bud Light around 5:40 to see Clairo and I was super surprised at how close I was able to get. After she finished, the crowd pushed even closer and I had a fantastic view (minus the super tall guy ahead of me) and it was a view worth so much more than what I paid for one GA ticket. The girls had so much energy and the crowd was soooo hype around me it was nuts! I’ve seen the girls so many times now but their presence at this festival was just so crazy. They were on their a-game (but when are they not?) and I just had such a blast.
Getting out of the festival was also way easier than I thought it would be. I wasn’t pushed or shoved like I anticipated and it moved pretty smoothly. I went alone, which I was nervous about but it was just awesome because I got to see who I wanted to see when I wanted to see them.
I’ve been a fan for so long now, but the girls will never disappoint me. Also great drone show. It was amazing how the crowd was just chanting the lyrics to all the KDH soundtrack. ALSO TAKEDOWN!!!!!!! I was so shocked they actually performed it!! The crowd went insane!
