I’m ultra biased but PK were hands down one of the P4P most talented girl groups out there.
People at obsessed with vocals? I’d put Swan + Goeun up against any other gg duo and the rest easily hold their own. Even their rapper has a nice vocal tone.
People tired of 2min easy going TikTok songs? Their latest comeback was 4min dreamy red velvet vibes song. They got everything from hard girlcrush to funky zombie music to pure pop.
People get a boner for self producing groups? PK has tons of credits on every ep, Chaein produces, Yuki writes her raps, etc.
I know their sales sucked but I thought they had a chance since RBW was giving them 2cbs a year plus multiple tours instead of just leaving them in the basement.
I’m glad they’re having one last tour but I can’t help but think the vibes will be sad knowing it’s the last time seeing them.

Their vocals are outstanding, ever since the debut album. Happy to own the physicals. The problem is they just never trended for some reason.
Add to that people went out of their way to fat shame Swan through the early years.
Curious which members will try a re-debut. The heavy statement focus on GROUP activities makes me think some will continue with the company.

I’ve actually had a number of fan calls with them over the past two weeks. They all seemed super excited and like they were enjoying their time. And considering they still have a super full rest of the year, I’m going to remain positive that this is something that the members are also in agreement with. I can’t imagine that RBW would force disbandment on a group but then expect them to have another album, promotions in two different countries, and then a farewell concert in Korea. So I really hope that this wasn’t just sprung on them and that they are actually fine with this decision. Either way, I will miss them after the year is over.

I honestly expected them to run the full seven years, albeit on nugu numbers. While I’m not entirely surprised about this, it still feels out of the blue. They had some solid releases early in their career, and every single one of them is so talented. Hopeful that they choose to stay in the industry.

I am heartbroken. There was always some hope inside me that they would get to medium popularity or atleast get to fulfill the 7 years contract.
My favourite group together with Rocket Punch and now both are gone in less than 8 months.
I just feel like this might be the end of my 11 year Kpop journey (started with EXID and Mamamoo). I have trouble finding groups that i can get really into ever since 2020 maybe i am just getting too old or the current groups are just not to my music taste.
I guess I dont have any group that i closely follow these days. The only other one i somewhat regularly check out is the new Fifty Fifty but even that isnt close to how i enjoyed Purki and Ropun.
I cant even process this enough right now to properly say Thank you for them for all their hardwork and great music. I know this must have been so much more devastating for the girls than it is for us fans. They worked so hard for their dreams and for us, they did always let us know how much they wanted to make us proud and give us good songs. And their desire for success was also clear.
I just hope we will get to see more of them in the future whether it is youtube, acting or whatever, it just cant stop right now D:
But most importantly i hope they will be happy in the future.

I hate that I saw it coming. The comebacks were getting less and less attention. It’s such a shame the members are incredibly talented. What a waste. Sweet Juice should’ve catapulted them, Zombie was also so good.
In my opion RBW is not a good company. They struck gold with Mamamoo but even with them, the management and promotion has been ass.

Tbh, there are still a lot of unknowns.
We don’t exactly know if the members will decide to leave RBW and decide to join a new agency, if some of them would stay with RBW, or would some of them opt for solo careers. We also don’t know if they would decide to join individual companies but have a clause to reunite in the future.

RBW really struggled to manage a group other than Mamamoo… I wonder if this is the group’s decision or the company’s, because Oneus (and Onewe) still keeps going on despite not being too “successful.”
Yuki, Swan, and Goeun are just too good to never achieve the recognition they deserve.

Had a feeling when the I Miss My… teasers dropped. It just felt like a send-off/finale to me. Even DOREMI feels like an ending song, bittersweet melody and mid-tempo beat in the middle of summer screamed it. I just took a look at the lyrics and they match the vibe too.

You produced your own amazing bsides, made some of your own killer choreo, and wrote several banging raps. Fantastic performance skills and very good with managing and interacting with a crowd.
