Finally received my Be Alright album. It's massive compared to other Ive albums. It's A4! And I even got A4 "photocards." I wish Ive's Korean albums are this big, especially Loved Ive. Those don't seem special anymore; it's the same box since Ive Switch.

  1. Because Starship mottos are:
“do the minimum for the group that earn and feed us”
“why do more when fan will buy even if you wrap the CD in newspaper”

Just to be clear, Starship clearly have the creativity to make better album for IVE (just go check the IDID and Kiiikiii album)

I doubt you are, but this is the kind of comment someone new to Kpop would make. Not meant as an insult, just blissfully unaware of what physical fans have to put up with.

It doesn’t matter which company, they all make totally random and brain-dead decisions regarding album sizes and shapes. Promote one main concept in marketing and stick it in the tiny variant where you need a magnifying glass to see it? Thats an old trick.

SM gave Red Velvet amazing concepts and stuck them with jewel case CDs, then out of the blue jumped up to Queendom which is the size of a vinyl record before jumping on the 25+ variants bandwagon.

JYPE has given TWICE every random size photobook under the sun.

IVE’s A5 style average isn’t bad in comparison. At least you can fit it on a shelf, unlike some “Tabloid” versions like aespa. On the flip size Chungha’s most recent album has one amazing, heavily promoted photobook variant and it’s so small you can fit it in the palm of your hand.

Or much worse, Taeyeon’s Heaven photobook. Where you do literally need a magnifying glass:

Which is full album price and a bad joke. Makes IVE look massive in comparison.
