Honestly it would be ludicrous not to continue ZB1 because too many survival show groups struggle so much after disbandment. I suspect the non Yuehua members to be definitely staying.

I am guessing that the only confirmed ones would be Taerae since he’s with W1 and Gunwook bc jellyfish will continue with EVNNE so I doubt they have anything prepared for him. The ones who probably don’t want to are Yuehua and if I have to say one more, I am guessing that THE L1VE.

I’m actually extremely surprised by this! I figured if they couldn’t get Yuehua on board (which was never going to happen anyways) then they wouldn’t continue as that’s almost half the group gone. I thought Yuehua might even buy out some of the more popular members contracts before something like this could happen but clearly not!
So if every other member continues that’s Jiwoong, Hanbin, Matthew, Taerae & Gunwook! A pretty damn strong lineup if I say so myself. They’ve got their leader, multiple main vocals, the groups main rappers and great dancers (and ofc visuals but no matter the combination of members they would’ve had that-).
Assuming the other 4 members debut together then this is honestly the best outcome possible? Time to stan two groups instead of one assuming this report is legit!

It’s interesting how Mnet survival show groups extending their contracts seems to be a real possibility these days (even if they do lose a couple members). I think some agencies of the IZ*ONE members were open to a contract extension but they still ended up disbanding anyways.

Damn! Tbh I don’t love their music but I do really like the members and their bond so I’ve been dreading their disbandment nonetheless. As a wizone I’m trying not to get my hopes up since this is just a rumour and the izone extension project fell through 😭 but it would be great if they could at least pull a fromis_9 and continue with 5/9 of their members assuming it’s the yuehuaz that won’t be continuing. Kep1er did set the precedent for project groups extending so I’m cautiously optimistic about this

This is surprising! I guess my only concerns or questions would be:
– Most likely Yuehua would be less likely to renew there contracts since they probably want to debut there own boy group
– Jellyfish is a questionable. They have EVNNE but since some of the members are also from Yuehua they’ll probably be pulled out also. So that will leave 4 members.
– Some of the remaining EVNNE members are under Wakeone so does that mean Jellyfish will keep them and make a new group with Gunwook? Or will they give Wakeone their idols back and make a new group with Jellyfish trainees and Gunwook?
– If Jellyfish takes back Gunwook then that means the only members remaining would be Jiwoong, Matthew, Hanbin and Taerae.
– But isn’t Jiwoong due to enlist soon? So that would just leave 3 members?
