It's comeback season again and I'm sure dives are in for another treat. But as I'm preparing my voting accounts for IVE's upcoming comeback, I just realized that IVE is near to achieve an incredible milestone. Currently, they have 69 music show trophies. 69!!!! That's massive. And with the upcoming comeback, Ive is ready to break records again. I know music show wins means a lot especially to the fans. But could you imagine how great it would be if we achieved that 100 music show trophies?
Only six acts have achieved it, and they are among the legendary kpop acts who redefined kpop: BTS, TWICE, EXO, Girls' Generation, Bigbang, and IU. Imagine IVE joining these legendary artists achieving an incredible milestone. I know it might be a little stretch for now, but if IVE consistently releases good music, I think they can achieve it eventually. I'm really excited for IVE's future.
How many comebacks left do you think we would have to achieve that milestone?

If they stay active for long enough, certainly.
They’re on pace. TWICE’s 123 have come in just under 10 years, IVE are less than halfway there after nearly 4 years. I reckon IVE pass 100 by 2027/2028, but bear in mind of course that they’ve done what they have with no wins in 2024, imagine where they’d be now.
Well, they’re certainly deserving of a place among the legendary. But so much of it comes down to timing and competition…in other words, luck. Heya and Accendio were up against industry behemoths and came away with nothing, while Rebel Heart and Attitude rolled over opposition that was far less formidable.

Honestly, a better peak of success would be to get to the point where they don’t even need to go to music shows (or win shows without performing).

It really slowed down the last couple of comebacks, but if they keep putting out quality then the wins will keep coming.
For this comeback their biggest competition is probably stray kids. Stray kids have better album sales but Ive have a lot more wins. They also only need 2 more to be the highest 4th gen group
I’ll be hated for saying this in the fandom sub, but I honestly don’t know. I love the title songs, but I keep seeing nothing but spam on casual comments that they “aren’t as good as they used to be.”
If thats the general public mentality then its harder to get music show wins/takes longer. Which would make it an uphill battle. It’s all about how long they keep around and if they do a contract renewal. If they renew it gives me more confidence.
Still, remember awards aren’t everything, enjoy the music 🙂

Most likely yes, probably not this era but within the next few. Depends on how well the next few songs do but rebel heart alone added 9 wins to their collection if counting the other title attitude, then it’s 10 for the album total. They probably do 5 on a soso era, and do 9+ on very good eras. I’ll estimate… 3-6 eras to reach 100. depending on how big their future songs are and the competition they’ll be against who can also have good numbers
