>It’s already been three months since I was unexpectedly diagnosed with leukemia after being hospitalized without knowing the reason.
>I have successfully completed the first and second rounds of treatment and am currently undergoing the third. I am grateful that the first and second treatments went smoothly, making the illness feel less severe.
>Right after the diagnosis, I was in such a deep pit that I didn’t want to receive any consolation or contact from anyone. However, thanks to the well-wishes and concerns of my family, friends, and loved ones, my heart has warmed. I realized that humans are not meant to live alone.
>Without hair and having gained a lot of weight, I was afraid to post a single photo because my current appearance is unfamiliar even to me, who was used to showing only a polished image.
>But now, I have gathered the courage to post photos and write, as my heart has improved enough to share that I am doing relatively well. I wanted to update everyone after a long time.
>Although a major hurdle of stem cell transplantation still lies ahead, I want to complete the treatment and return to my daily life, or even healthier than before I got sick. I hope everyone stays healthy.

Cancer sucks.
It’s good to hear that she’s responding well to her ongoing treatment. And that she has an amazing support system around her in this battle. Wishing her the best!

Oh gosh, I’m so glad she felt well enough to give an update. Good to see it’s mostly positive and the first rounds of treatment went well for her. Feels silly to say it this way, but I hope that upcoming stem cell treatment kicks some serious ass. Stem cells, FIGHTING!

Leukemia sucks. We lost Jaehyun of F.able to this disease. I hope for nothing more than a full recovery for her.

She wasn’t my bias in GD/RSQ/IRRIS but I rooted for all the girls over the years. I hope she stays strong and recovers quickly, best wishes to her

Oof she’s roughly the same age I was (28) when I was diagnosed with cancer. Mine was pretty mild all told, but it totally felt like a rug swept away. 28 is a weird age to get diagnosed with cancer because most cancers affect much younger or much older patients, so it can be pretty isolating at an age where you just felt invincible. I hope her treatment goes well!

she is a young adult so remission rates are generally higher after tx. I think she has a good chance of beating. Stay strong!
