This isn’t really surprising, considering I’m looking at Chicago now – the first two rows are almost sold out, but there’s two tickets remaining for 125 dollars. The rest of the venue is still available aside from maybe 15 tickets, and the rest of the tickets are about 90 bucks. Additionally, they booked the same venue as tripleS and Artms did last year/earlier this year. I think if she wants to tour the US, they need to book smaller venues and lower prices. It sucks, but she doesn’t have a large catalog of music to play either, which makes fans hesitant to buy. That combined with the domestic economy is rough.

Isn’t this the second time her US tour has been cancelled? Her company really needs to take notes. Soojin needs better promo and more songs before she can fill out the type of venues they’re booking.

I feel so awful for her, but anyone could’ve seen this coming the moment this tour was rebooked.
So let’s see here:
Step 1) book a tour that’s too big with very little promotion
Step 2) cancel tour due to lack of sales
Step 3) release almost no new music
Step 4) rebook the same tour but this time at bigger venues with higher prices
Step 5) cancel 2nd tour due to lack of sales
Baffling.

It’s hard to attract new fans or keep casual fans interested if you keep a soloist without a comeback for more than a year…☹️
Not to mention the concert oversaturation and overall economy.
Still wish Soojin the best, and hope she isnt that worried, there are a lot of fans supporting her around the world
BRD should really re-think their strategy though going forward

I’ve always wondered but is it not practical for these companies to conduct surveys about their artists, see what kind of interest people have and how much they’re willing to pay before booking tours outside Korea?

I am sad. I had my ticket and was so ready to cheer her.

So this is the second company of hers to cancel a US tour. Unfortunate.

Tbh, I feel like a few others will follow and cancel tours as well. Soojin’s sold *really* poorly and so did a few others. Just a mix of too many shows going on forcing people to pick and then these shows being so expensive.

That’s a bummer. Was looking forward to going to see her as a b-day gift for myself.
I do hope that assurance in the second paragraph is accurate to the situation and Soojin is and continues to be well.

Some people are going to automatically assume this is USA politics causing issues, but it’s simply because she sold very few tickets. Most of the venues were only like 5-15% sold.

I would have 100% gone to the Denver stop if prices were reasonable but the back of the seated section (which is 90% of the venue) was over $100. I got much better seats to see TripleS at the same venue two weeks earlier for $65. And i’m sure ARTMS at that venue will also be cheaper when they go on sale next week

Damn. I was excited to see her in Houston. This blows.
