Rosé – who prefers to go by Rosie – has spent the last decade on stages all over the world. Off-stage, though, she’s been busy making her mark in the world of fashion. For her first full collaboration with Puma, the star has created an effortless, wearable collection that reflects her sporty-meets-sweet style: think oversized tracksuits and slouchy silhouettes, with added feminine touches.

To mark the launch, Rosie – whose dog Hank was recently featured in Dogue – spoke to British Vogue about the unexpected lessons she learned during the design process, her surprising style icons and the similarities between fashion and music.

**Firstly, how did it feel to see your dog Hank as a Dogue star?**

Oh my gosh, it was crazy. He’s in his prime right now and on the day of the shoot, he was the star. Everyone was obsessed; it was just so funny. I thought it would be a sweet memory for my family, fans and me. He’s shy, but when there’s a camera, he seems to know the angles and puts on this little attitude. Honestly, a natural model.

**Congrats on the Puma X Rosé collaboration! Did you have a clear vision for the collection or did it evolve?**

I had a rough idea, but it really evolved along the way. Materials and ideas would spark new directions, and sometimes we expected one outcome but ended up somewhere completely different – which actually felt perfect. Every piece became inspired by the moment and how I was feeling in the workshop.

**What surprised you most during the process?**

How similar creating clothing is to creating music. It’s about deep passion, embodiment and collaboration. I learned so much about everyone involved – we became like family. And the funny thing is, we bonded so much that after workshops, we’d be like, “Should we go out for dinner?” That really stuck with me.

**How would you describe your creative process?**

Scattered at first, definitely! I need to feel and see things before anything clicks. Once it does, execution comes fast and smooth. It’s like riding a wave – you just have to trust it.

**The collection mixes oversized sporty pieces with feminine touches. Why is that balance important to you?**

Comfort is huge, but I also want to look presentable and cute. That mix is just me – I can be wild and sensitive at the same time. Even picking out my daily outfit is like that. I want to feel covered up but still look like me.

**Are there any unexpected style icons who inspire you?**

So many! Princess Diana’s everyday looks, Zoë Kravitz – she’s the queen – and the Olsen twins, whose style I’ve always loved. I actually met one of them, and I was like, “I’m such a fan!” It was one of the best moments of my life. Their style really stuck with me.

**What do you hope people take away from this collection?**

I want people to see it as a beginning – my first journey into fashion. Just like an album, it’s the start of creating something true to me. I hope it inspires people to trust their instincts and embrace what feels authentic.

I bought both variations of the sneaker and can confirm that they are super cute.
