  1. **Film synopsis:**

    >With only four spots available in the band and the final cut a week away, the competition is off the charts. When a talented and mysterious new girl is introduced at the last minute, things start to get strange — girls are being hunted and attacked one by one, but who is responsible for the carnage, and more importantly…who will make the final cut?

Yay!! I’m so happy for her! She mentioned on Yong Tarot that she had been approached for acting roles, but wasn’t sure if she should do it because she didn’t have any formal training. Glad she decided to go for it!

  3. Wait, a minute there was a BlackList script that is centered around a debuting K-pop group?

Based on the synopsis, I honestly thought it would be a survival show scenario in which the new girl was being introduced. However, I still want a K-pop survival show with elements of horror and a thriller. I think I kind of get that sometimes when watching some of the latest ones.

Let’s fucking go, Somi! More activities, woo! New ventures!

  4. Oh that’s a surprise! Good for Somi! I read the script before and honestly didn’t think any active idol would touch it because it’s very much body horror/slasher vibes but it seemed like an interesting premise so I can see why she went in for it!

  5. This is clearly trying to surf the wave of *Kpop Demon Hunters*. But my understand is that wave got its initial energy from children (I’m not saying its childish, *Golden* is on my playlist, but that’s where it started). How are they going to tap into that market with a horror film that’s presumably going to be rated PG at the very least? Then again I guess Asian horror is a well known genre so there’s that market too.
