Aside from the fact that it was truly beautiful (the choreo is truly stunnin), so well executed and showed how they’re both amazing dancers, I loved how you could see that Dino went for a style that was more Seungkwan coded. Like that’s just pure talent there but also so sweet. I’ve been seeing ‘professional’ dancers’ rankings lately mentioning Seungkwan’s dancing evolution and he’s being ranked (by them) much higher these days. And it feels like this video really helped people acknowledge his progress.

I also can’t help but remember the “I’m the one who taught you to dance” from Dino in that rap battle parody they did on Idol Room. 🤣 It was a funny moment but I can’t help but think about a young Dino showing Seungkwan how to dance and thinking about them supporting each other, caring for each other and etc throughout their trainee days and 😭😭😭😭.

Also, Seungkwan always seemed to me as someone who really enjoys dancing. Even if at times it seemed that he was more comfortable doing it in way that is more comedic than serious, you can tell he loves it. So I loved that they took the time to do this together, share this passion for dancing and properly showcase Seungkwan’s skills. .

I remember Seungkwan free styling to Pang! in one Inside Seventeen and Dino was just standing there staring at him through the mirror and smiling. I dunno it just felt warm? Seungkwan was really going off and having fun but I also feel like the final choreo did have some similarities with that freestyle so the idea that Seungkwan’s moves could serve as inspiration is just great.

Anyway I love these two bickering besties.

**Seungkwan about Dino:**

“Dino is my one and only younger brother. He is like my real younger brother.”

“We understand each other without even speaking. For me who is the youngest [in my family], Dino is my real younger brother.”

“Our cool and handsome maknae. He’s always overflowing with passion; I’ve got a lot of things to learn from him. There are times when he still acts like a baby, but once he does on stage there is an ambition he has that is really cool and admirable.”

“Seeing Dino after a long time?”(question from carats on weverse live) Dino’s absence…I didn’t really notice it that much while performing.vHonestly speaking. But definitely in the green room or when we’re on the move. On a regular basis, I feel his absence so much. I always… Dino…I should be teasing him or doing something with him. But since I don’t have anyone to do it with, I can’t relieve any stress! Of course, it’s kind of funny to explain Dino in that way, but our Carat understand Dino’s and my relationship, so I’m able to say it like this.”

**To Dino:**” There are so many things that I’m thankful for and sorry for Chan-ie, who’s like a reliable hyung, dongsaeng and friend [to me] ㅎㅎ. Rather than being a Pi Cheolin in my life, you’re a featuring-like existence. Please understand hyung, if I write a lot of cheesy things ㅎ. Since I also want to show off. It’s written on Weverse [anyway], so let’s [just] move onㅎ. Anyway, thank you for making sure to celebrate hyung’s birthday this year too and Let’s go eat something delicious once you come back to Korea. In the past, [there were times where] I would think “How come you don’t know how I feel.” There were a lot of times where I would feel upset and sad too. But now, even if we don’t talk to each other. We understand each other so well to the point that it [became] fascinating. I guess it’s because we’ve expressed and felt that much of each other’s feelings, isn’t it?. My irreplaceable dongsaeng Chan-ie ㅎ. You’ve become even more mature lately. I feel so reassured that it feels like we’ve [all] grown up. When looking back. [I think] you’re the existence that made me feel that “I lived my life well” or “I need to live my life well.” Sometimes, when you feel like complaining a lot and when you need to rant, come to me whenever you want. From now on, as we live our lives, let’s live while collecting unforgettable memories together. Just exactly like how it is right now, nothing more, nothing less.”

**Dino about Seungkwan**

“He’s way funnier than any comedian, but as soon as he starts singing, he’s a totally different person! He wows us all with his amazing voice. We became trainees at the same time, and were part of the maknae team. Because we’ve been together for such a long time, I feel like we can connect to each other a lot.”

” He’s an irreplaceable presence [in my life] whom I fought and made up with the most, and who has taught me many things, my best friend.”

“All jokes aside, Seungkwan often comes and finds me when I’m going through a tough time, and checks in on me. That’s how he looks after all of us.”

“Seungkwan hyung is a hyung who is interested in many different things.”

“There is no doubt that Seungkwan is my best friend.I really care about him.”

“A god of entertainment whom I have a lot of respect for and to learn from.”

**Q. You and Seungkwan in particular have a unique kind of relationship. Lots of people like the way you two joke around.**

**Dino:** “We bicker when we’re in front of the camera, but don’t be fooled-when we’re off-camera, we get along well. (laughs) I like him as one of the members and cherish him as a person. When we first met when we were trainees we couldn’t live without each other, but as we grew up we found out our personalities and our values are completely different. I’m more of a “you do you, I’ll do me” person, but he likes taking care of other people, so we actually fought a lot. Like, to the point that we didn’t speak to each other for two months. I think figuring each other out that way led us to where we are today-the way we get along well now.”

**Dino:**”One of the biggest reasons I could endure as a trainee… One of the biggest reasons was Seungkwan…
**Seungkwan:** Four years have passed.
**Dino:** “From debut until now, whether it was tough, Well, I think you’ve seen all sides of me! I’m thankful that you’ve been quietly watching over me.”

**Seungkwan:** “Have I been quietly watching?”

**Dino:**”Not quietly, but… you’ve been looking over me this whole time with the same attitude. In the future as well, because we’ll be together… I wanted to say thank you for believing in me.”.

**Seungkwan:** “It was a moment where I nearly teared up.”

*Seungkwan and Dino have a corner on the market in Seventeen when it comes to pretenemy chemistry. They come across as soulmates who finish each other’s sentences-to the point of it becoming ridiculous, it’s often said.*

**Dino:** “There’s a saying that a true friend is someone who can sincerely clap for you when you do well.”
**Seungkwan:** “I don’t remember the last time Dino clapped for me.”
