Why did the video start out looking more like a hostage video and end up being a touching story about wanting to become and idol but being worried about what others thought of that desire?
Haewon lore update!
I’m happy we got more of the full backstory now, though I totally get the need for a nice short “tv friendly” answer to common questions like that. It’s interesting, the way something as simple as what people happen to praise kids for can have such a big influence on what they believe they can do.
Now she’s smart and adorable! I hope she knows how proud of her we all are for following her dreams. A lot of us dreamed something similar and never went through with it and now it’s far too late. I’m glad she’s got the chance to live her dream despite all the hardships.
