It’s actually concerning that people will rather believe what lies they wanna hear than the truth, when many parties have already spoken up that it was not the case.
Seems like out of context clips cut short were used to present a situation very different from what actually happened.

Maybe they should get them bedroom doors before shelling out for a lawsuit
>> As for the missing door, as Minami mentioned in the video, she accidentally bumped into it and it came off. If the members had ever wanted the door reinstalled, of course we would have done so right away-and we still would if they asked. But none of the members have requested it, and it was never forcibly removed.
Snippet from a message the CEO was sending around to fan accounts, the members were literally asking to have their doors put back/made functional in the variety show and even if they weren’t, giving the excuse of oh they never asked for a bedroom door is madness. That’s the most basic form of privacy. In the variety show they also state that the doors were taken away for reasons to do with dieting and the girls snacking…
Edit to add: For context, not that it would make things any better if she were an adult, Minami is currently only 18, born in 2006. What they’re talking about w the doors seems to have happened in the past and has been going on to this day. Meaning she could well have been a minor when all this started. Imagine if Eunchae (same age as Minami down to the month they were born) or Wonhee (also 18) or one of the H2H or Baemon or Nmixx girls started talking about having a bedroom door in their dorm removed. People would be on the war path even if it wasn’t taken away for SNACKING. It shouldn’t be excused by such a wishy washy statement just because it’s a smaller company

Let me know when its actually proven wrong in court.
And I don’t mean they won a defamation case as we all know in SK you can make a 100% true statement and be found guilty of defamation.
I mean the allegations are actually proven false.

Honestly the only weird thing I found was the door thing, sad that the industry is so untrustworthy that people picked this story up so fast but I think most people reacted with good intentions in mind

Good, the door situation is a bit sus, but the screaming videos were edited to the point it changed the context. Woni closing the window because the screams were coming from outside and May saying it must not be the members after hearing a make voice were cut out. I saw people claiming to see bruises in one of the members, she has had that same spot since their debut so it’s not a bruise.
I hope things calm down soon, especially since this also hit multiple regular pop culture subs and not just kpop places, and if there was mistreatment regarding diet/the missing door that that will be improved asap. The girls are in a spot where this can really hurt their future careers so I wish them the best, they’re talented and have a lot of potential.

What’s still bothering me is, we’re meant to believe the members have no door on their room because a member accidentally knocked it off??? And since then the members just haven’t asked for it back because….they want to be held accountable to their diets and prevent sneaking food? Idk man. That’s a tough one. And kinda makes me doubt company’s word.
Even if that’s a true version of events, the culture around dieting at the company has to be toxic as hell for that to be the case

They are underage, and heard a girl screaming, the man yelling on top of his lungs at the same time..
How is it groundless to worry about the girls ?

Can’t believe people are still doubling down on this nonsense. You don’t follow the group don’t pretend to know best.
**Everyone that follows RESCENE closely is not concerned for their safety.**
Please leave them alone you are not helping them you are just causing them harm.

Baseless rumours? They are *on video uploaded by the company itself* saying they took the girls’ doors for eating too much and saying they could sleep in the managers’ room if they have complaints.
I HEAVILY disagree with the people saying it’s fine because the girls said so. Kpop idols are known to 1) be groomed into accepting unsafe work conditions and 2) not be allowed to speak freely.
Don’t be naive.

Their fans (as far as i have seen on twitter) believe the company and members explanation but its kpop fans who have never cared about the group stirring up trouble. Kpop fans are always looking for a victim (even creating, belittling, and even hurting) they can farm engagement off. Strange hobby.

It’s interesting how fans are willing to boycott until it ends those girls’ career despite literally all parties involved including the members themselves explaining the situation and begging them to stop…
In all of the boycott calls before we’ve seen the members at least give hints appreciating the campaigns if not outright approving it but here you have the staff and most importantly the members visibly panicking at the sight of the declining support and the fans still think they are helping them.
Some K-pop fandoms underestimate what it takes to make a small company group disband and overestimate how big are their idols’ chances at remaining in the industry after they do disband.

I see some RESCENE fans saying that this was all blown out of context and that the girls are fine and people need to stfu if they don’t actually follow the group, so I’m going to say, as a RESCENE fan, I’m concerned about the girls…
In Minami’s own words, yes, she broke her own bedroom door, *however,* it was out of frustration (likely made all the worse by hunger), and, importantly, **the company was already going to remove the doors because the girls were caught “snacking”** (*because they were starving*) and the door situation *still has not been fixed.*
Also, their manager (REGARDLESS OF GENDER) should NOT have been dismissively offering to sleep in the girls’ dorm in order for the girls to “earn” their door(s) back so that someone could make sure they weren’t snacking… Anyone who is normalizing this and defending it as just part of being a K-pop idol needs to sit down and think about what they’re saying and what kind of mentality they’re contributing to.
At this point, I just hope that Minami and the rest of the girls didn’t get in trouble with the company for this 🙁 If their company was punishing them for eating food while on a crazy restrictive diet by *taking away their doors,* I can’t imagine what they might do to the girls for bringing this to light and “making the company look bad”…

A bit of context since I have been following this one, as I understand it:
It first started from a variety episode where the girls for entertainment purposes mentioned their dorm doors having been removed. Then during a live some voices were heard in the background and it was assumed there was an argument between a member and a manager. Several REMINE worked on a [statement](https://xcancel.com/yudaengii/status/1967010384512262161?t=QfndxwzSnB-FrBGG33gveA&s=19) and contacted the company and CEO, worried about mistreatment. The CEO acknowledged the concerns and replied through [Instagram](https://xcancel.com/RESCENEGLOBAL/status/1967009610918687090?t=VG82A5nW4xglKx9wo18TLQ&s=19). Many fans thought it was damage control and chose not to believe him. Then finally May also [addressed the situation](https://xcancel.com/reminesyndrome/status/1967643399936528739?t=O6t1eFOtakd7RiCWEzYNWQ&s=19), denying anything malicious going on
