His best album! Medicine fav so far
Oooh I love it! Suhoās music evolution has been really interesting as heās gained confidence to explore genres that are really uncommon within the kpop space. I think my favourite is Light the Fire and I also love Who Are You. Medicine is not what I expected but itās really fun and I think itāll be really good live. I think this is my second fave Suho album after Self Portrait
Oh look an Exo release actually on an Eclipse!!Ā
I can just sense that Mark Mothersbaugh was on the moodboard for Medicine omg
Fadeout feels like an archetypical Suho song. Everything fits together so perfectly and it exudes his personality – the chorus me of late 90ās alt rock.
The run of 1 to 3 – Black Out – Upside Down – Who Are You is such a spectacular run of Exo rock music. Feeling grateful to be on this timeline.
this album cemented my belief (since grey suit) that he’s on a league of his own. he’s a phenomenal artist and he has the best korean music i’ve ever had the pleasure to listen to and i’m not exaggerating
Look how he ate that, his music continues to be a huge comfort for me, my boy <3
This album has no weak entries for me! The more I listen to the songs, the more I love what I hear.
I absolutely love Light The Fire, but now, after a few listens, I can’t get Fadeout out of my head!
If you told me back in 2020 when Suhoās first solo was announced that he would eventually be releasing rock albums I would never believe you. But Iām so so glad that he gifted us all with an album like this. EXOās solo works this year have all been really good, but this one definitely is up there with Kyungsoo and Chanyeol for me as one of the tops.
Suho is just consistently excellent and Iām loving the amount of effort heās put into this album. He even gave us an English version of Who Are You, thatās so incredible.
A solid mini album! I wasnāt a fan of 1 to 3 (as an album), so I havenāt listened too much of Suhoās music recently, but this pulled me back in! Love this sound in general and in k-pop. I find āwho are youā a nice listen, nothing too much over the top and inoffensive (good)
I love it, I like it even more than the last album. I didn’t listen to all songs yet because I’m waiting for my album to get delivered but I’ve been playing the title track non-stop for hours and I love his vocal tone on this one, some parts just give me goosebumps!
This is his most cohesive project. Really liked the opening track “Who Are You”.
Really love the title track! Medicine is a standout for sure. Idk why Light the Fire sounds like a high school musical 2 soundtrack to me š¤£
Birthday and Fadeout are good songs. Golden Hour is growing on me.
It didnt blow me away like 1 to 3 did on first listen, but I am so proud of how much his sound has developedĀ
After several listens, Who Are You and Light the Fire are my top two songs. The rock genres for those just hits my nostalgia high school days rock days. I think this album really shows off Suhoās vocal range the best of his solo albums. Medicine has the lower speak singing that kind of reminds me of Bowie. Golden Hour has synths that remind of the 80s. Iām excited to see the choreo and MV for Medicine, since Suho is so excited about it.Ā
Ugh, I’m really sad to say I only liked one song, and even then, it’s not a add to playlist. :^(
