Love Go! And Fashion! Their success doesn’t shock me at all, they had a pretty big pre-debut fan base + hybe stans (especially big hit stans) who would stream and support regardless for whatever weird bragging rights company stans like to have lol (even sm, jyp and yg) and then the new fans they picked up with the release. I’d have been more shocked if they flopped
I know some people feel like this is a knock on their talent, and I’ve already seen people try to start some weird victim narrative for them, but you can be both hella talented and set up tremendously well for success. Thankfully, they lived up to the hype! Hopefully they continue to release some fun songs.
