I just bought Desire: Unleash Engene version from the Virgin Megastore. As far as I know- it isn’t possible to know the contents of an album and that it’s random, however mine was labeled- suggesting that it was the Ni-Ki one.
Is this common practice among retailers or is there a chance that my album could be mis-labeled? I bought this as a gift for my friend (her bias is Ni-Ki) and I don’t want to go wrong.
Would appreciate y’all’s assistance on this.

The Engene version was sold with different member versions. I bought the Heesung version when it first came out in June, and it included a few other member photocards, as well as the Heesung testcard photocard, if I remember rightly. (Just checked I had a mini Heesung poster, photobook with lots of Heesung and group shots, Heesung test subject card, Heesung photocard and a Jake photocard along with some other posters, cards and stickers etc)
Yes, it’s usually random, but there are some stores (I know of ones here in Seoul) that are able to label the member versions of albums, even when they’re sealed like this. Usually when I buy a specific member version, the store will kinda give a disclaimer that it may not be 100% accurate, they will tell me it’s more like 99%, I guess just to save themselves from someone being too angry if it does happen to not match the label, but I’ve never had one mislabeled.
I also bought a labeled Jungwon version. Someone explained that a lot if times, stores receive them separated by member, so if they mix them up they dont have any way of knowing which is which but if they keep them separate/label them its accurate.
