It started with his F1 Tiktoks where he parodied the movie trailer with Sunghoon and the one where he was drinking Red Bull cans and being down about having no races that week.
He also gained attention for making the Europe crowd sing Max Verstappen's theme song. The composer of the song mentioned him in an interview lol. Not to mention, all the outfits and jackets he's been photographed in several times.
It's so fun to see the F1 community appreciate his fanboying 😂 They're calling him cute, relatable, and they're rooting for him to meet the other teams too.
The best part is that this is all extremely organic. Engenes didn't need to promote Jay or trend hashtags. Jay captured the F1 community's heart on his own! They probably felt his fanboy sincerity.
There are so many hit tweets about Jay and it's so touching how nice and funny all the comments are from F1 fans 😂

Jay, you really did that. I’m so proud of him. What makes it even better is that the members also got to share in the rewards of him living his passion out loud and proud😭
And ahhh I’m just thinking out loud but this whole thing is also so inspiring. Jay is so unapologetic about his interests. He openly geeks out without worrying about what others think. You can always feel his sincerity and it draws people in. Watching him makes me want to be more open about my own interests and thoughts without second-guessing too.
