    >We have made it clear to the three members’ side that the settlement of the dispute and group activities are separate matters.
    >
    >Regarding the dispute settlement, we have prevailed in all disputes so far, and the only thing we demanded from the members’ side was the payment of 10% of their individual activity revenue as stipulated in the existing agreement dated June 18, 2023. However, this has not yet been fulfilled.
    >
    >The issue of participating in group activities required sincere efforts from the three members’ side to fulfill the existing agreement and rebuild trust, as the excessive number of disputes significantly damaged the trust between both parties, and the harm caused to the team EXO and the pain inflicted on the fans and members were considerable.
    >
    >However, contrary to the members’ statement today that they accepted all conditions proposed by us after the second mediation session on October 2nd and clearly conveyed their intent to settle, they filed an objection first on the 16th.
    >
    >We cannot help but express deep regret over the three members’ announcement today, which distorts these facts. We will do our best to support and exert efforts for EXO’s activities, which are set to begin in December.

    >Additionally, regarding the issue of participation in group activities, the multiple unreasonable lawsuits have not only significantly destroyed trust between our two sides, but have also caused great harm to the group EXO and wounded both the fans and the members.

well… damn. how do you even go back from this? they are saying they caused damages to fans and other members….

  3. The wording as suspected does seem to imply a breakdown of trust which makes sense in this scenario, I don’t think cbx is going to be joining exo anytime soon unless they concede. But it seems like a losing battle for them

Working with SM before the trial would be the worst thing for CBX and this just proves that SM will not have a relationship with them until they pay their 10%.

The thing with sm is that they have such a bad record that makes them difficult to trust, but this time what they are saying makes sense. The hate train ot6, especially Suho, are facing is nasty

Also the track record of the ongoing process cbx are going against sm disproves basically everything pointed out on 100’s statement

I won’t give an opinion on the whole “damages” thing bc I’m not an exo-l. But I will reiterate my previous comment.

If SM has no haters, I am dead. But onehundred is messy af (yea idc that it’s a subsidiary) because this statement sounds eerily similar to statements made previously by IST ent when they also said that onehundred distorted facts, basically lied, in their statements about negotiating in good faith. I just refuse to believe that SM announced an EXO comeback without them and they’re telling us they had nooooo clue at all because everything was going great??? If that’s true then That in itself shows they’re terrible at whatever their job is. And if it’s not true then they’re still terrible at it and liars too.

In closing, I’d like to say that SM also saying that the dispute and group activities are separate matters and then 5 seconds later saying the dispute caused damage and a breakdown of trust (which I guess is believable yea) means that they are in fact, not separate at all. It seems more like a threat. Pay up the 10% or no EXO for you. Which isn’t crazy if that’s literally the agreement, but so shady to frame it like it isn’t exactly that. Which again, they would be in their right.

  7. So to summarize both statements:

July 9th: First meeting with SM to discuss group activities

Sept 10th: Entered official negotiation stage

Oct 2nd: (After the 2nd mediation for the Solo Activities lawsuit): CBX accepted all of SM’s conditions for Group activites for December Comeback

Oct 16: CBX objected negotiations (only confirmed by SM)

even if they did join the cb it would leave a bad taste in my mouth considering how solo stand shaded and insulted the sm members + lay and d.o

  9. This is just…oof.

I feel like they could’ve just did what Kyungsoo did and not renew instead of renewing and then doing this. Other acts who have chosen not to renew for solo activities but still do group activities have been allowed to participate (Suju, Soshi, Shinee, and Red Velvet come to mind). Verbal agreements are iffy too because there it all comes down to “he said she said”, unless there is physical evidence showing what happened. I don’t know what their lawyers were thinking going through with it, it was a losing battle from the start.

  10. Im always very staunchly in the “fuck SM” category with this stuff. But CBX shouldnt have trusted MC Mong.

It pains me to say this but the members should have been more diplomatic in their handling of the situation if they wanted to continue participating in EXO activities. Like at that point it doesnt matter who’s right or wrong, sometimes with work stuff you have to play ball if you’re wanting a certain outcome

  11. Every day the situation just gets worse, considering their contracts under SM expire in 2026 if they don’t cough up that 10% they’re definitely not rejoining exo and will have to wait it out.
