According to reports on the 7th, EXO has begun production preparations for the new season of the reality-variety program “Travel The World On EXO's Ladder” (hereafter “EXO Ladder”). Before filming officially begins, the group is said to be holding meetings to plan the trip. This time the lineup is the six members: #SUHO, #CHANYEOL, #DOHKYUNGSOO, #KAI, #SEHUN and #LAY.
EXO Ladder has aired four seasons so far: Japan edition with CBX in 2018, Taiwan Kaohsiung & Kenting in 2019, Namhae in 2022, and Geoje & Tongyeong in 2023. Because about two years have passed since the last season, strong interest is expected again this time.
EXO will hold their fan-meeting “EXO’verse” on December 13-14 at Inspire Arena in Incheon’s Jung-gu district. Also scheduled for the first quarter of next year is their 8th full album release and comeback promotion. Related promotional content will be released sequentially from December, and EXO Ladder appears to be part of this comeback project.
After each member pursuing successful individual careers in various fields, the reunion of the group, even as six members, draws attention. Fans are eagerly anticipating what fun and new content this new season of EXO Ladder will bring.

Happy for the members and I will definitely support these babies and watch but a part of my brain is like *At what cost?!*
I really love EXO Ladder, and I look forward to seeing Lay in a ladder season. Buuuut my heart breaks not having the CBX boys in there. Xiumin’s mission in EXO Ladder season 4 is one of my favorite moments, Baekhyun is always so much fun (duh), and Chen is my bias. I’ll still watch it of course, but rather begrudgingly.
Edit: I guess we have the CBX season to make up for their absence. I just hope that we can get them back in the group at some point soon.

I know that the CBX vs SM issue is sad and disappointing and unfair and a million bad things… But I’m sure the boys are trying their best and doing what they can. I’m so sad that most exols are saying they won’t be supporting this comeback… I don’t think the boys deserve that. We know how SM is and in the past we have endured mistreatments but we still supported the boys. I just think is unfair to them to neglect the new content just because CBX is missing.
I love all 9 of them and I hope that all 9 of them will be together on stage again because I believe in their promise. If this year it wasn’t possible, I’ll just keep on waiting. But I’ll never stop supporting them.

Excluding cbx while Ladder was originally Baekhyun’s idea and it was for cbx originally and the other members got involved bc he asked for it soo much…the shamelessness of this company
Sigh. I’m excited and will be tuned in as always, especially if Lay will be part of it too but I feel so sad for CBX. Being an EXO-L is definitely not for the faint of heart
