Whoa, that was pretty unexpected. Work, worth, let’s go, Dem Jointz!
I love how there’s a lot of Yeji stuff in this song and music video, blonde Yeji is too good, now it’s with the short-haired form, she’s super cool.

oh this is going to go HARD in my car! I’m kinda addicted to Ryujin and Lia’s verses, and while very overwhelming, the MV fits the song. ALSO I can’t wait to see the full choreo for the ya ya ya part

Dem Jointz and girl groups are the winning duo, this was so fucking cool.

Love it on first listen, rare for me.

It’s like if GWBG continued their road trip into the city hahah
Dem jointz always solid. I liked bits and pieces, especially the 2nd verse and the post chorus. Overall pretty good and very ITZY.

Wow this is a totally new sound for ITZY, I feel like?
I really love the instrumentals, that first verse with Chaeryeong, the prechorus, chorus and post chorus 😆 and was that a third verse or a bridge?
My interpretation with the music video is that they’re very focused with their goals, haters seem like ants to them. Small enough that thay can just step on? Or I might be wrong with that haha
Lokking forward to seeing the choreo and performance in full!!!

chaeryeong’s post chorus eats.
i really like it! production is weird enough to be quirky but still melodic enough to latch onto which has been a tough balance to find sometimes. and i love the little flourishes of hip-hop with the record scratch and rap section delivery.
really excited to see the full choreo and let it marinate. no idea what’s happening in the video tho tbh.

ITZY guessing us at the end of the video what’s the end crown pose look like rofl

Absolutely in love with the MV and outfits and can’t wait for the live shows to see them sell the hell out of the performance. I am loving the sound. It feels different for them but still very much Itzy which is always a win.

It’s an interesting comeback.
It feels like a grower to me. The first listen feels a little disjointed and never really climaxes – but I feel like it’ll be elevated with the full choreography, and it’ll definitely hit in a concert. Some lyrics stick out in a clunky way.
That being said, this might be my least favorite MV of theirs? Felt like the camera wouldn’t stop moving, there was a lot of bug swatting into the camera, and the lights just kept flashing. Even during the dance sections it was hard to see what was going on. The muted palette, the car crash, etc. was interesting – but also felt like MVs I’ve seen before.
For their first comeback post-renewal, first impression is definitely stronger than the last few comebacks, but could go either way for long term rotation.

EVERYONE GO LISTEN TO 8-BIT HEART ON THE ALBUM! TRUST ME YOUR LIFE WILL BE CHANGED

song will probably take a few more listens for me but the beat is really good, MV has to be one of my favorites from kpop releases (the first half especially) this year bc damn are they SCRUMPTIOUS‼️

Nocturne is the best song on the album. I wonder how they would set up the choreo on that

Went and listened to the album first and while I don’t have strong opinions on this track, the album imo is hands down the best they’ve made in a long time. Everyone here should go listen to it, not just Tunnel Vision
Bunch of electronic bangers with some hyperpop weirdness and great production. Very cohesive too. Feels much more mature than their recent releases and fits them really well.
Love this for them.
The music video is dope as well. Reminded me of the ADP Famous video which I also really like – looks like it’s the same production team so that tracks haha

Great song, I really like it a lot! Cool and badass ITZY! I actually think the Ya Ah Ya” part is my favorite though, it’s so catchy. I especially love toward the end of the MV when they do it and it focuses on Chaeryeong, she kills it with the choreo and looks stunning!

Tbh, I don’t see this getting big. Hearing the snippet and now the full song didn’t really change my mind (though I’d love to be proven wrong, the girls really need the exposure). Cake to Gold to Tunnel Vision all feel like the same song to me, just with different vibes (Cake being the cutest, Gold being cute but darker/fiercer, and TV being the fiercest). And honestly, I don’t really like them. GWBG is actually good and I thought it had a chance to blow up, but it still feels like it’s missing something.
Maybe I just need to relisten a couple more times.
Now I’m gonna listen to their B sides
Ambitious_Smoke7300 on
Ehhh it just seems so flat and doesn’t really go anywhere. Even Ryujins second rap with the little beat change it was like oh this is cool and then it disappeared as quick as it came.
lol imma probs get downvoted, but,
I think unfortunately for itzy the group as a whole is pretty middle road for vocals and raps which I feel weighs more in kpop music from a listeners POV than say being a dancing machine group with cool choreography which they excel at. The talk singing/rapping doesn’t allow for peaks in the song like say a vocal pre chorus or a vocal bridge could give them or some vocal adlibs in the last chorus. The beat can only carry a song so far if the voices cant also back it up to bring more punch. Idk I feel sad for them as a 7 year group I would expect more progression this just feels like a slower version of GWBG

Cool but GO LISTEN TO THE FUCKING REST OF THE ALBUM. 8-BIT HEART and DYT are actually really really great. The b-sides eclipse the title
