  1. I love everything about this video, especially the outfits, and the chorus is really catchy. I just wish the verses were lyrically stronger.

  2. This is sick! The beat is filthy and can’t go wrong when a Jessi song has her rap and sing.

Nah I can’t listen to this…I am a hardcore Jebbie but her english lyrics man, they’re so cliché and cringe, I’d rather she sings in Korean so I can say a lot was lost in translation. They’re getting worse.

It pains me to say this because THE GIRL CAN SING, has the delivery and is really adaptable to any kind of music!

JESSI PLEASE GET AN ENGLISH AND KOREAN LYRICIST!!

Even in Brand New Boots the only adlib she threw in there was so unnecessary, talking about how good the smell of a new pair of sneakers is, when it’s about boots.
I know what she was going for, but that adlib alone, threw the concept outta the window.

I still have to check out the remaining songs…

    [EDIT]
HELL technique wise, is really pleasant to hear. I’ve never heard Jessi be so “raw” in her vocals, I particularly enjoyed her growls.

MARRY ME is the black sheep in the tracklist, I don’t think it fit with the theme of the album, and IF it was meant to, it did not link well with the story she built with the other songs.

I am glad she implemented types of songs she is really strong at, so RNB and music with a Latin influence, and I thought she at least was gonna provide 2 solid tracks that are her forte but she didn’t. HELL and MARRY ME were too short and with a shallow meaning, she needs to give me more and go above and beyond because she only has 3minutes.

HELL has a typical plot, the sinner of love, but it could’ve been so much more impactful, just to name a few with the same theme:
    – Lady Gaga – happy mistake
    – Hyolyn with her LOVE & HATE album
