    I remember being there, in the megathreads. 😌

    One of the funniest things from this daesang was that for the longest time they thought it was for Wings.

    What a day!! I remember hiding in my college bathroom right before I had class just to watch lol. It’s been such a wild ride.

    i rewatch the episode annually in honour of their win and i never, ever get over the moment of collective bangtan shock when their name was announced, especially joon popping up like a meerkat.

    and what stuck with me is that they were so grateful then and still continue to be so humble and grateful to ARMY whenever they win something 🥹 i’m so happy we made the right people famous

    Opening this thread got me all emotional seeing comments from quite a few ARMYs who were present to witness this in real time 😭 I love and respect all of you so much!

    Thanks to tannies, I’ve watched my fair share of Korean music award shows over the years and I have still never seen a group as shocked and surprised to get an award. I really think it shows *how much of underdogs* our boys really were. Say what you will, their story is one that can never be diminished because of how real it was.

    Ryuseralover’s fanvid of this moment (it’s called BTS MMA Album of the Year WHAT??? Remix) is my absolute favourite, coz the members’ reaction is sooo funny.
