Wonyoung's solo in the group's performance– Objectively, it started out with Wonyoung as a sleeping dark princess, was woken up, then she walked towards that same sleeping image of herself and stabbed it, and then a stage garden bloomed. I found it intriguing because it's almost like it's telling a story, especially the dagger part towards the image of herself. Do you guys have some interesting interpretations on Wonyoung's solo part here? I'd love to hear some takes!

Ooh, interesting interpretation! I’m glad you asked because I’ve been curious about the entire performance too. I interpreted the performance as being about Wonyoung being chased by sleep paralysis demons (the backup dancers in black) since that’s what the XOXZ MV is about. Then she enters sleep paralysis and is paralyzed in her sleep, just like the other 5 girls (who are “trapped/paralyzed”, hence the cage imagery). Maybe Wonyoung becomes one of them (“evil IVE”)…
Then Wonyoung frees herself with the dagger, winning against “evil Wonyoung”, and the flowers symbolize triumph before Rebel Heart starts.
Alternatively, she becomes a demon and uses the dagger on sleeping (sleep paralyzed) herself, and the blooming flowers symbolize death (entering heaven/paradise) (evil Wonyoung wins)…
