TL;DR -> what do you think is mandatory viewing for a Once that wants to get to know the girl’s personalities other than Sixteen and Time to Twice. Give me the niche!
I have been in the kpop sphere for almost a decade but I’ve been denying myself the joys of being an official Once. I know almost all of their music and I’ve done Twice musical deep dives before… but it is now my time to finally admit… I’m a Once!!! It feels wonderful to say! But now here’s the issue… I dont know our ladies as well as I would want to.
So, what do you think is mandatory viewing for a once? I’m planning on watching Sixteen and I’m watching some of the time to twice videos. Is there anything that I need to be aware of in terms of inside jokes and personalities? I’ve always loved Jeongyeon and just became aware of “girl crush” so I’m hungry for more!
Thank you!!! 💕✨

I don’t think there is much apart from TWICE TV and TIME TO TWICE. There’s the documentary One in a Mill10n, their Annual Anniversary fan meetings VODs where they play games, their old VLIVES.
Came across this YT playlist as I was recently searching through things, just for perusal. Not sure if it has everything.

Otherwise try twflix
Don’t forget about: TWICE – Seize the Light
I wrote most of this wiki through 2018 or so:
https://twice.fandom.com/wiki/Videography
Everything, literally everything, with the members is cataloged here. I even added timestamps for shows where TWICE, or certain members, only appear for partial segments.
I wish I had kept going through the later eras, so I can’t speak to the accuracy of those pages, but if you want the first few years of TWICE, you’re covered.
It’s kinda difficult now because they don’t do a lot of seasons long Twice TV anymore, and they’ve changed so much since the last one.
A bit of an unconventional suggestion, but I suggest going through [ccstwice](https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=ccs+twice)’s channel. They make a whole bunch of Twice shorts and they love pointing out the girls’ different quirks and backing it up with evidence lol. Here is an example of a [short ](https://youtube.com/shorts/DLDlCCWfnIk?si=xmp7cOE38ev86Mb3)about Jeongyeon’s laughing habit. They are all short and subbed, so it’s pretty easy to watch.
For Jeongyeon specifically, my mandatory watching for her is her [monotube series](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLl5KMOw5FKU3WwKukjfUV9fMWo8Ynrv44&si=6UukXpJJI5Aejbws). This was filmed between her two hiatuses. You get to know so much about her here – her love for camping, for animals, for art; the easy way she talks to people. There is also a peak to her mindset at the time.
For Girl Crush Jeongyeon specifically, I think Twice’s Elegant Private Life gives a lot of that. I think you can find it on BiliBili? Her kissing skit with Tzuyu was so iconic lol.
Lastly, I compiled this list of [vids ](https://www.reddit.com/r/twice/comments/1kg4k9d/vids_for_new_onces_to_get_to_know_the_girls/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button)from a while back for getting to know some of the girls! I was supposed to finish them all, but I never got to it haha.
2WICE’s DATE and TW-LOG! There are playlists for both series on their YouTube channel.
I think everyone else has already provided great suggestions, but I want to comment briefly on SIXTEEN.
It’s rough. I think it’s a very cruel reality show, and even TWICE hesitate to talk about their experience with it. The finale especially is awful. Basically, there were 7 slots for the group, and people would move up into the “majors” but that also meant someone had to move down into the “minors.” And after the person getting declared for the Majors, they have to read an envelope that has the name of the person moving down into the minors, and they both have to stand there are JYP gives them criticism about why they are moving down.
There were a LOT of tears, and not all of joy. Honestly, I think many of the TWICE members looked conflicted. Happy but also feeling so sad for their friends and fellow trainees that weren’t selected. It didn’t feel like a celebration to me. It just seemed so cruel to these teenagers.
I can’t stomach watching the whole thing. I made myself get through the final episode, but I couldn’t do much more than that, so don’t be surprised if you have to do the same.
personally, Twice’s Elegant Private Life is what made me fall in love in 2016
