    So happy for Cocona!! They haven’t mentioned pronoun changes yet, so I’ll just use “they” to represent “not known” for now.

    So incredible to have transmasc representation in a Kpop-adjacent space!! I didn’t think this would happen for forever. Very proud of Cocona 🥹❤️

    I never thought I’d see the day a relatively popular, active idol would come out as trans… (granted XG isn’t strictly kpop but they’re in the same category)

    This is so huge for them and the community in general, i’m so happy that they felt comfortable, or at least supported, to come out and be their true self. This is an enormous step to take for them and hopefully will end well and show others that it’s okay and they are loved.

    Holy shit what a boss. Love that they are able to come out like this and be representation we rarely see. This is so brave to come out in East Asia like this. So proud of them and hope the absolute best

    This is so fucking monumental. That too from a group with as much significance as XG. They’ve been unabashedly queer with their art and it’s so cool to get to see such rarely expressed queerness get platformed this way.

    So happy for them and so glad to know that the members are supportive. I feel elated to know that atleast some of the groups I stan wouldn’t despise me.

    Oh wow, I never thought I’d see a headline like this in a promoting group. All power to my fellow community member! May you flourish!

    Shout out to the other group members for seemingly (or whoever accepted Cocona) not kicking up a fuss and wanting Cocona removed. There’s a lot of empathy and career association the members likely had to have and think about for this move to be made publically too and I’ve gained respect for them as a result.
