Nmixx is not coming anywhere close to me so I'll be flying out to see them, but I have not been to any these venues.
Are any of the venues egregiously bad or exceptionally good?
How easy is it to get around the area by public transport?
What's there to do in the city if I come for a few days before/after?
Thanks you nswers :3

I’ve only been to the Paramount Theater in Oakland so I can only speak on that place, but it’s a nice medium-sized venue. I think the last show I caught there was CHVRCHES. There’s a bunch of places to eat and drink nearby and the Bart station is just a block away, so transportation is easy.
i can speak for Brooklyn Paramount: Brooklyn Paramount in NY is a great venue all things considered; it’s recently renovated and looks GORGEOUS, and seating arrangements tend to be on the spacier side. i’ve seen two acts there (tripleS, Turnover); both times, the staff was very friendly, and if you drink the bars are really conveniently located. it’s also really convenient to get to by public transit, literally across the street from the DeKalb Ave subway station, and the area is quite safe to be around.
the only caveat i know is that it’s a pretty small venue in one of the most population dense areas in the country (NYC is NYC), so i’m not quite sure just how easy getting tickets can be for that specific venue, since it’s subjectively the smallest capacity venue out of all of the North American venues. otherwise, if you decide on Brooklyn Paramount, you’re guaranteed to have an enjoyable experience there.
