  1. Balming Tiger, Hearts2Hearts, KiiKii and Dayoung. LOVE IT ALREADY!

There is one artist I wonder if foreign outlets will pick up for their lists which is HANRORO.

  2. This is a pretty great list. Kudos to ifeye and NMIXX. Spinnin’ On It is also my top song of the year.

Nice to see the Kim Lip solo make the list too. Though my favorite solos are the Choerry and Heejin ones.

  3. I had “High Horse” already stuck in my head when I pulled up this list. So glad to see it there!

  4. If there were a Hall of Fame for pre-releases, High Horse and Spinnin’ On It have to be the first ballot inductees.

  5. Honestly good list. Still a bit sad we never got to see Ash promoted like it deserves but the performance on their tour has looked fantastic so I’ll have to live with that

Really happy to see ifeye get a mention too, really pleased for them. I’m very keen to see what they do next with their first comeback being so distinct from their debut.

Nmixx continues to clean up with the year to end all years, unreal set of music from them this year. So pleased they’re getting all the well deserved recognition.

  6. Can’t wait to see them live. Nmixx. I mean.

Also. LSF and Illit. Feel free to world tour as well 😉

Why is the writing so bad? It’s painful to get through this list.

Even crazier is that it’s not just one person writing commentary. It’s like the entire NME staff is 8 year
    olds writing their first zine.

Ash belongs here! I always felt it didn’t get its due. Happy to see Jellyous, the Illit girls are doing so well.

NMIXX’s music is new to me, just gave their album a listen and am very happy I did. What a homerun to hit towards the end of the year.

The way Illit is described is perfect. Them and NewJeans have been refreshing the last couple of years in straddling the line between nostalgia of old school kpop and refreshed beats

  10. I’m happy that Ifeye is so high up the list! They really have had a fantastic debut year, and I’m super excited to see what else they release!

Also super happy for NMIXX! They’ve consistently released bangers, and I’m glad they finally get the recognition they’ve been working so hard for!

NMIXX with 2 entries (and one being #1) is absolutely correct!!!

Also Yeji as the only other JYP idol on this list!!! So proud of her with both Air and 258 getting some shouts on year end lists!!!

  12. Delighted to see Key in the Top 5! As a soloist (and “older” idol) he’s often slept on by newer k-pop fans, but his discography is truly worth checking. Hunter is him coming back to his signature bold and retro sound after branching away for a bit (with the more house influenced Good & Great and Pleasure Shop which felt a bit shallow for such a great performer in my opinion) and the mention is totally deserved!

  13. Anyone managing Izna must hates the girls so much. Like what do you mean you chose Mama Mia instead of Racecar as title track???? Make it make sense

  14. This is a very good list. It feels really good seeing songs like Air, Racecar, Dancing Alone, and Can You Entertain get their flowers.

They feel pretty underrepresented on most year end best songs lists, so it’s good seeing them get the recognition they deserve.

  15. I’m so happy seeing Racecar by Izna being mentioned here, it’s such a beautiful song! Should’ve chosen this as a title track instead.

Also Enhypen’s Helium is also a banger sorta like chill rock, can listen to it over and over easily ✨

  16. Was not expecting H1-Key at all so pleasantly surprised!!

I might be too much of a nugu simp for these lists but JustB, Tempest, and xlov definitely deserved to be somewhere 🤣🤣

Also Rebel Heart. That song was a jam

  17. I read the comments here first and after seeing NMIXX have 2 hits, I was already delighted. But I was surprised that #1 is Spinnin’ On It, my personal favorite on their banger of an album, instead of their title track, Blue Valentine. I’m so glad that song is getting the recognition it deserves!!

And justice for ASH!! Both Ash and High horse are my absolute contenders for BSide of the year, so it’s nice to see them both recognized here.

Downvote all you want, but NMIXX is the closest we’ve come to matching f(x)’s musical quality. No other girl group has touched f(x)’s impeccable discography, yet NMIXX keeps getting closer with every release.

Easily the best list from a big publication I’ve seen so far. very similar to my own personal list. so happy to see Air, Racecar, and especially r u ok. and they actually chose the right NMIXX song for #1!
