It’s beginning to look a lot like the end of the year! A certain winter bear will soon be turning 30, many will be celebrating holidays with loved ones, and we’ll all look to 2026 with hopes for healthy bank accounts (just kidding, we’re all gonna be so broke)! While we’re waiting for our Anpanmen, we librarians wanted to take a look back at the year little Books with Luv club had in 2025, and what a year it’s been! We travelled through mirrors and time, solved (or tried to solve) murders, cried a lot over the loss of loved ones, looked at (our) moms in a different light, and learned a little more about ourselves along the way! Thank you for reading with us, sharing so honestly your thoughts and perspectives, and continuing to nurture this little community within the subreddit.
Here’s a quick recap of all the books we read in 2025 –

Tell us, your one, your two!
Out of the 10 picks, which one was your favorite and why? Did any take you by surprise? Did you vote for a book that wasn’t chosen and you have a lot of feelings about it? How many did you end up reading?
Here’s your Books with Luv: Wrapped persona; if you read…
- 1 book – Curious Kooky
- 2 to 3 books – Page-turning Tata
- 4 to 6 books – Booky Shooky
- 7 to 9 books – Cultured Koya
- All 10 books – Erudite RJ
Our ult-list keeps growing, but we’d love to get more suggestions for what you hope to read and discuss in 2026?
Yeah, we never felt so right, when you’re reading by my side
We’ll be taking a short interlude for the month of December but we’ll pop right back in in January with more reading adventures. Next year, we’re back with themed months but this time with a fun bora-twist! Each month’s theme will come from a BTS or member song, we’ll choose five books based off that theme, and vote from those options. See the themes/songs and follow along with your own – reading challenge tracker – feel free to save it for your journals and share it amongst your socials and friends, online or in 3D!
As always, if you have questions or suggestions on how we can make our discussions even better please let us know. You can post it here or feel free to reach out to any of our lovely volunteers and mods!
