[Mod Announcement] The 2025 Holiday Purge!

Hi everyone,

To celebrate the holidays & upcoming new year, r/seventeen mods are taking a 2 week break from moderating the subreddit. This means that it is essentially a free-for-all – just like The Purge! All our usual filters for unofficial content will be turned off and only very low-level moderation will occur from 22 Dec 2025 12am KST to 5 Jan 2026 12a KST.

What will change:

• Unofficial content (i.e. Discussion & Question posts, Fanart/Fan content) will not be subject to regular moderation rules.

What will remain:

• Our pre-scheduled birthday posts for Joshua.
• Posts of official SVT updates (i.e. SNS posts, News articles, Album/Merch details) are still subject to moderator review. Concert/touring-related posts/questions will still be automatically redirected to the megathread, and buy/sell/trade is still not permitted.
• Basic filters for vulgarities/slurs & NSFW content and the Twitter ban.
• Our 5-day account age rule to filter out most bots/trolls.

Please also note that basic ground rules still apply:

• Please be civil and respectful when engaging with others.
• Reddit’s Terms of Service (No piracy, no brigading, no harassment, no ban evasion, etc).
• Use the report button or modmail us when you see anything that should immediately be taken down.

Otherwise, from 22 Dec to 5 Jan, post what ever suits your fancy on r/seventeen!
