hi, I'm new to nmixx! I really like their music, so I decided to stan them. unfortunately I'm pretty bad at faces (and i'm not asian, so it's even harder for me). do you have any tips for me- like special features to help me tell them apart?
at the moment I think I can kinda tell apart bae, haewon and lily
also I dropped a few photos where I tried labeling the members! did i do it right?

You did it all correct for the other pics but you messed up between Kyujin and Jiwoo in the first pic- it’s the other way around!

Honestly, just focus on the eyes and maybe a bit on the face shape. Once you properly associate the eyes, you shouldn’t have issues between the maknaes anymore. Oh and the hair can help, Kyujin never had light hair (blonde, light pink)
Bae usually has short hair, also the tallest. Lily’s eyes look different from the rest. Jiwoo has a wide smile. Kyujin is a cat. Haewon glows while making meme faces. Sullyoon is 4D CGI. 😅
Jiwoo and Kyujin really look like twins sometimes and so to tell them apart; if she looks cute and friendly, that’s Jiwoo. If she looks cute and fierce, that’s Kyujin lol.
my friend and i call jiwoo and kyujin the evil twins lol. i best describe it as jiwoo is more puppy and kyujin is more kitty
I think humans by their nature are pretty bad at faces lol. I’ve been a fan a while and I still get kyujin and Jiwoo mixed up depending on the hair and photo.
You only really start to tell them apart the more you look at them. Live concerts, mv’s, their YouTube video where they hang out and play silly games. You start to pick up on not just their faces but mannerisms too.
Only one tip, if you see someone pulling a silly face, its probably Haewon
For me, the easiest way was to watch Mixxplore; in that type of content, they are a little more free, so it’s easier to notice certain personality traits.
Variety shows also help in this regard, but it’s a little rarer to see all 6 of them on those programs.

Just watch some variety content once or twice and you’ll be able to tell them apart, once you’re adjusted to their faces talking and moving.
The way i was able to tell jiwoo and kyujin apart was that jiwoo had 🐶 eyes while kyujin has 🐱 eyes. Once you see that i think you really can’t unsee it and it gets so easy telling them apart. Other than that you got all other members correct! Happy to have a new Nswer 🕺

Bae almost always has short hair and is the tallest, Sullyoon is similar height to Bae and basically never changes her hair from brown/black, and has also never cut her hair.
Haewon usually has a more rounded face than the rest, has tried a lot of hair styles (rn is blonde, with semi short hair since she cut it almost 2 years ago). She also has signature Boba eyes.
Kyujin and Jiwoo are usually the hardest for people, but Kyujin has more sharper eyes (kind of Yeji like) and usually has black hair. Jiwoo on the other hand has a bit more rounded eyes, and has changed her hair the most out of all the members. She is also the shortest (which is sometimes not apparent cuz heels).
Jokingly whenever Jiwoo changes hair colour to someone’s ‘signature’ colour (long blonde like Lily for example) we say that we can’t tell the difference, she’s a little bit like a chameleon in that way.
Lily is Lily 😂 she is very much half Asian looking which helps her stand out.

Besides puppy, Jiwoo’s associated animal is hamster. She’s got two front teeth that stick out ever so slightly and you can still tell through her lips when she smiles.
Kyujin has sharp, cat-like eyes similar to her Birthday Buddy Yeji from Itzy. Also, if the photo is zoomed in enough, you’ll see a little indentation on the tip of her nose. The girl is a literal kitty!
🐶Jiwoo 🐱kyujin. You will feel it
I feel like it’s almost an NSWER rite of passage to get jiwoo and kyujin mixxed up. I couldn’t tell them apart for the longest time and then one day it just snapped and I could tell them apart. It was almost like those magic eye pictures that once you see it you can’t go back to seeing it how it was. Welcome to the fandom!
