When I look back at this year, I’m filled with immeasurable gratitude. The experiences, opportunities and genuine connections of 2025 have been beyond all imagination, hopes and dreams.
It feels impossible to sum up the year in just a carousel of a few images, but these are a few of my favorites from “work.” Not because they’re necessarily the best images nor the most famous subjects. Perhaps they even feel mundane; but to me, they all represent something that has filled me with an appreciation for this past year.
There were so many moments that felt impossible. Not because they were difficult — but plenty were. But impossible because I’d never dreamed them. From the opportunity to photograph the SNL50 concert and special to so many special projects with Nikon, and so many special guests photographed in over 150 shows at The Tonight Show.
Earlier this year, I called my parents. I told them that I was helping conduct portfolio reviews at Rolling Stone’s offices as part of the Abbey Road Music Photography Awards. Just that combination of words coming out of my mouth, it felt completely unreal.
Being a photographer doesn’t really feel like a career, because what really is that? That feels like something for people who had a plan. I just can’t believe I get to do this as a life.
I hope 2026 brings you everything beyond all your beyond all imagination, hopes and dreams. Beyond everything.
