    > Hello, this is Belift Lab.
    >
    > Recently, the illegal acquisition of personal information and threats against the safety of Illit members have gone too far. We would like to share Belift Lab’s position on this matter.
    > Recently, after completing official overseas schedules, some members of Illit were returning to Korea after completing personal schedules when a serious privacy violation occurred. We were aware of the leak of the artists’ return information in advance and changed their departure airport and flight times just before their return to ensure their safety. Despite this, multiple individuals had already obtained the artists’ flight information and tracked them to the changed airport. They went beyond approaching the artists and attempted to engage in conversation, threatening the members by pointing out whether they were wearing masks and demanding to take photos against their will. The fact that the changed flight information was private information known only to the artists and a small group of associates, yet was leaked in real time, is why we are taking this matter very seriously.
    >
    > We have repeatedly stated that the illegal acquisition of our artists’ personal information and their appearance at non-public schedules is a very serious matter and that we are taking legal action against this. Nevertheless, we have determined that we can no longer tolerate the fact that incidents have occurred in which individuals have tracked our artists’ personal schedules in real time, appeared on-site, attempted to contact them, and made threats. Therefore, we have requested active cooperation from the relevant airlines to verify their information access history and log records. Furthermore, we are constantly collecting evidence against stalkers who threaten our artists and will hold them strictly legally accountable, without any compromise or leniency, and with a zero-tolerance policy.
    > We will continue to do our utmost to ensure that our artists can focus on their activities in a safe environment. In particular, we reiterate that we will not hesitate to use any means necessary to protect our artists from stalking, and we ask for your active reporting and cooperation.
    >
    > Thank you.

Since only a few members of the staff and the artists themselves knew means the leak was from the airline company. Enhypen was mobbed yesteray at the airport too and they could barely squeeze through. I hope Belift finds whoever is selling this their artists’ info.

Companies leak info to photographers so they can go viral with airport fashion, and idols make shit ton of money from endorsement.

I thought idols going to the airport was basically like a promotion in itself… photoshoots and all… now they’re saying it isn’t?
Or because it was the girls returning from personal leave, and they didn’t have a handler with them, that this is different?

  5. It’s honestly just so disgusting that Belift even has to make this announcement, that it’s not common sense to leave people alone.

Yeah, press goes to the airports to take pictures and fansites too. But it’s gotten to be a lot, and to have their flight information changed to protect them and it STILL getting leaked is just…appalling. Like there’s still minors in Illit! Good on Belift for doing something, I hope whoever leaked the flight information is punished.

The fact that it was likely a staff member who leaked ILLIT’s private schedule and flight info makes me SICK. Someone entrusted to private info and well-being of the girls and they’re selling that info to sasaengs?!?!?! What a despicable act. The girls could’ve been seriously harmed, but even without physical harm, I can’t even imagine how they’re feeling right now…I can’t imagine how scared and trapped idols feel who are being stalked and harassed, like nowhere is safe for them. This is so messed up. I hope BELIFT catches the culprit and beefs up security for the girls!!!
