  5. Also regarding Climate Pledge Arena’s bag policy, any bag LARGER than a 4″ x 6″ x 1.5″ clutch must go through x-ray screening, EVEN IF IT’S A CLEAR BAG. This is apparently a new rule imposed by the NHL (National Hockey League) for all of their venues this season, and for those that don’t know the Seattle Kraken are the main tenant of the building.

I’ve got VIP soundcheck for the 13th, and I’m going solo! I hope to go early and make some friends, maybe be adopted by others looking for concert buddies. Anyone else wanna form a little group?

I’m so excited to see the girls as this is my first TWICE concert!

  7. I’m glad they have 2 days break after Vancouver. 🙂 Hope everyone enjoys the show, they were amazing.

  8. Does anyone know the best time to show up? I have soundcheck but don’t want to be stuck in the arena for the whole day!

  9. Going solo on the 13th, but flying in on the 12. I don’t have any concrete plans so I’m down to hang out before the concert. I’m also giving out little freebie care packages (as long as TSA doesn’t throw a fit) with some mini meme photocards if anyone wants one :).

Has anyone had experience with ADA at Climate Pledge? My husband & I have VIP soundcheck GA tickets, but I had back surgery recently and definitely won’t be able to stand in the pit lol. When we e-mailed them about it it seemed like it wouldn’t be too much trouble for me to be seated during the performance itself, but I’d feel better about it if anyone could share a positive experience :3

  11. Track jacket completely sold out at merch pre-buy. Limited size on the jersey (L & 2XL) and lovely keychains completely sold out. Everything else they had plenty of.

  12. If tomorrow or Wednesday will be your first time going to Climate Pledge Arena, A REMINDER that the venue is **CASHLESS**. All major credit cards, Apple and Google mobile payments accepted. And there is a cash to card conversion kiosk inside Climate Pledge Arena.

  13. Word from the unwise:

Check on your Candybong (lightsticks) batteries.

I haven’t even touched this thing since the first U.S. concert tour six years ago and went to inspect it tonight for the Seattle show and the batteries were still in the holder and had hella leakage/corrosion.

Unfortunately this was from before I knew any better with my Fimbongs.

Hotel I’m staying at had a “Welcome TWICE fans” sign at check in.

Update: Climate Pledge updated their bag policy and they seem much more strict than they were in the past.

If you have ANY bag (clear or not) that is larger than 4×6 inches, you are only allowed to get into the venue via two entrances. The lines are very very long to get into the venue this way.

Even if your ticket says differently, you must go to the bag lines if you have a bag.

Lesson learned from my 5×6.5 inch clear bag. I just wasted 90 minutes in line. 😑

  16. Dahyun just performed soundcheck completely sitting down. She hurt her foot somehow. It was wrapped and she limped to get on stage.

FEEL SPECIAL remains black taped on onstage setlist

  17. Hey guys! Day 1 here, if anyone’s a Day 2 Once and reading this, I would recommend avoiding bringing a bag if you only have small items and can fit them in your pocket. We got here at 7:30 PM and there were LONG lines at pretty much all the entrances. Show’s technically supposed to start in 10 minutes as I’m writing this, but it looks like at least 1/3 of the stadium is still empty because I think a lot of people are stuck in line! 😓 There’s a separate line for people who don’t have bags.

Also, no pillars! But Section 22 looks like there’s a bundle of wires hanging in front of it!

    Final thoughts:

    Greatest night of my life

As someone that wasn’t super into Takedown, the energy during it live was INCREDIBLE. So hype.

    The Jihyo/Dahyun WiL bridge 🥹

    Mina’s boots?!?! Jihyo’s hair?!?!

All of the solos were SO good. Just missed Dahyun’s 😢

The energy was incredible tonight. If you’re going to day 2, have fun! And cheer your asses off for Feel Special for the encore

  19. max_caulfield_ on

2 Twice concerts ive gone to and both times my bias Dahyun was sick or injured. Still a great concert but I feel so unlucky :/

  20. Twice were even better than the second time in 2019. These women have grown leaps and bounds as performers and I’m just so proud of them. I can’t wait to see them again!

Special shoutout to whoever idea it was to prioritize dancer and band interludes in lieu of VCR’s—you’re the best!

  21. It was amazing! I’d recommend ear protection because tbh I could actually hear their vocals better with something in my ears than without. Airpods on normal mode worked great. Also Jihyo was INCREDIBLE. Like seriously, she can freaking sing – her notes in Mars were SO good. And be wary of the merch guys outside the arena and people offering rides on their trailer bikes – merch is most likely fakes and the bikes will overcharge like crazy once you try to get off

  22. Thecheesybiscuit on

    The girls were *incredible.*

Also I was so glad Dahyun was able to perform despite her ankle injury! I know sitting down most of the show was not anyone’s preferred outcome, especially hers, but the crowd was really supportive of her and the Jihyo + Dahyun moment during what is love was very special to me :’)

Also for anyone attending night 2 please please please wear hearing protection! Everything sounds excellent but is quite loud.

Thanks to all Once for the great energy on night 1, let’s keep it up tomorrow!

  23. Here is my experience of Day 1 Seattle

-I arrived around noon and parked in the 5th Ave and Harrison St garage near the Museum of Pop Culture. It was marked at $25 for event parking but upon leaving around 11pm, the gates were up and being confused as to where to pay my ticket before leaving, I asked and was told I didn’t have to pay and could just leave.

-Went to the pop-up merch at the Mediterranean Inn at 425 Queen Anne Ave N just a block west from the Arena. I knew it would be a longshot to get a Candybong since I was still looking and stores have been sold out but I went anyways to check it out and they had a sold out sign for lightsticks. It was still cool to check out what they had.

-I had VIP Soundcheck PIT tickets so I just went back to the Arena to line up to enter around 1pm. At the check-in desk, we needed to make sure we had the TicketMaster App to show the ticket barcode moving since static barcodes like in snapshots/pictures would not work. I don’t know if it can work any other way, this was the only way I knew how to make it work in the moment. Check-in gave us the green bracelet.

-They had us talk to our PIT leader (mine being PIT 2) and that person gave us a blue bracelet (PIT 1 = orange, PIT 2 = blue). We would have stood in the PIT 2 line but since I brought a large bag, it had to be x-rayed and there was only 1 long bag check line. Clutches can be 4″x6″x1.5″ max. Anything exceeding the Clutch dimensions (even if it’s a clear bag) would have to be x-rayed in the bag check line (large bags are 14″x14″x6″ max). Some people didn’t know this or the PIT leader didn’t notice how large some people’s bags were so after a few megaphone-reiterations of this, some people went to the back of the really long bag check line. Closer to entry, some staff were nice enough to advocate for transferring people with bags needing x-raying to equivalently step over into the bag line instead of going all the way to the back and asking people in the bag check line to be generous and let them merge into the bag line without having to go to the back. I think people generally did. MORAL OF THIS STORY: confirm with the PIT leader if you should go to the bag check line based on your bag size. 4″x6″ is pretty small. Luckily, my wife proactively asked our PIT leader if we needed to be in the bag check line, which we did.

-2:30pm, VIP enters, the lines moved well enough. The bag check line was just astronomically long. That being said, it seemed like the bag check line was still moving a little faster than the “carry-in” line. Just make sure all of your stuff that could trigger the metal detector is in the bag like TSA at the airport. Keys, phone, anything went in my bag and I walked right through. Upon getting in, don’t forget your goodie bag they are handing everyone for this VIP entry. if you have a Candybong (I couldn’t get one leading up to this concert), they asked that they are turned on when run through the X-ray, or probably even the metal detectors for the non-bag check lines.

-Once inside there are several things people did:
    1. Merch lines
    2. Food/drink/bathrooms
    3. PIT line up

-There were 2 merch tables on the floor you enter and 2 downstairs. 1 upper table was starting to gain a line but the other table had virtually no line and I just walked up and got merch right away. The 2 tables downstairs also had short lines. On top of what you get, every 75$ spent (presumably in the same purchase) gets you a random key chain (I think they are called Lovelys?)

-Food was various counters and grab-n-go stations. It’s all digital pay (credit cards, tap pay, etc.)

-I walked both sides of the Arena concourse even though I was PIT 2. The PIT 2 side had a big backdrop and individual member banners for photos while the other side didn’t have anything like that. Unless you are going hard for PIT line-up right away, make sure to check those out.

-For PIT line up, you can leave if someone can save your spot to get more food/drink/bathroom. They do have water bottle filling stations but specifically for the PIT entry, they ask that closed containers are emptied of liquid and transferred to an open cup, which they provide just prior to leading everyone down there and at the floor entrance to the PIT. You can bring drinks to the PIT floors, just no closed containers. It’s a safety thing so they don’t have people chucking stuff that could hurt the members, staff, etc. An open cup if chucked would not hit so hard.

-5pm PIT line descends to the floor. It takes a while to fill up but aside from barricade positions which are coveted, there was plenty of room in the PIT. People weren’t squeezed together (which was how I imagined it would be). You can leave and go get more drinks or food or go to the bathroom and come back. I saw people constantly going back for more drinks in the form of open cups or pizza boxes from one of the food vendors. Great view from really anywhere in the Arena and especially anywhere on the floor/in the PIT. There were VIP seated soundcheck were also filling in.

-As far as PIT position goes, we chose to be in the middle of the PIT square so we were equally spaced between the center stage, our end stage, and the walk-way connecting them. A little bit of neck craning for the jumbotron big screens but that’s the price you pay for barricade positions at the center stage. I don’t think the people at the barricade of the centerstage could look up to see the jumbotron big screens at all.

-6pm soundcheck, the girls come out in casual wear and sing some songs, wave to fans, etc. Poor Dahyun had an ankle injury prior so she was sitting in a chair but was still singing. I think I saw a sign on the check-in table saying no pictures or videos during soundcheck. Didn’t want to chance it and get security mad at me. Plenty of opportunities during the show for pics and vids.

-6:15pm, soundcheck finishes and it’s just downtime until the show started around 8:15pm. that means, food/drink/bathroom/more merch. Leave the floor and go back up, then come back down. You might lose your spot if you don’t have people helping to hold it but the PIT was loose enough that people would wiggle their way back to their spot after leaving. A lot of PIT people just sat down and hung out.

-8:15pm, show starts and it’s amazing. The live vocals, the dancing, the stage work, the energy, all of the Candybongs lit up. I had gotten concert earplugs and it was great. We even got Feel Special in the encore at the request of the crowd.

-Don’t forget to bring your dancing skills. They had fancams of various people, some with cool outfits.

-10:45pm, the show ends. Do watch out for possibly aggressive merch vendors outside the venue. They have hoodies or whatever else laid on the ground for people to have to go around. I didn’t look at whether they were legit/good quality, I had already gotten the merch I wanted.

-I hope this helps the Day 2 goers for Seattle! Let me know if you have any more questions and I can hopefully answer based on my experience of Day 1.

Had a great time! Got there at 10:30am and did get barricade. However, because the stage was SO high, I feel like I barely saw any of the show. I couldn’t see the jumbotron either bc it was above me, so that was a huge disappointment. When they came toward the edges, I could see them, but any performances on the center stage in front of me I couldn’t see at all 😭

dahyun is still sitting for soundcheck :(( she was too far away for most of pit2 to see her chair but she turned around a few times for everyone to see!!! she had a huge smile & waved back to me and completed my heart <3 get well soon
