Starship just confirmed that the girls are coming back in late February! It feels like "IVE SECRET" was just yesterday, but I'm so ready for new music.
It's been about 6 months since their last release. Since it's a relatively quick turnaround, do you think they'll continue the vibe from the last album or try a completely new concept? Personally, I'm hoping for something confident and high-energy for the spring season.

Just cautiously optimistic, hoping for something really impactful
Yes IVE SECRET feels like it was just yesterday for me as well, because it didn’t have much impact in comparison to previous releases. A lot of recent kpop releases are just very short, basic songs and while it’s enjoyable, it’s easily forgotten. So I’m very excited for the comeback.
Can’t wait for what the girls have in store for us this time! I don’t really have any predictions, but there are some things I really hope for:
1. It’s a full album
2. The solo songs are included
3. Fans don’t go into full doomsday vibe just because IVE is making a comeback at the same time as Blackpink is. Sadly I’ve already seen many comments asking (demanding) to move the comeback to an earlier date so that it doesn’t clash with their release. I know fans want to avoid another HEYA situation, but honestly, I don’t think IVE is at a level where they should be that much concerned with music show wins + longevity on the charts is much more important than topping them for a short while. Not to mention, it wouldn’t be the first time they are “up against” big names, and they did fine, beyond fine tbh. After Like was released at the same time as BP’s last album, and IVE easily out charted them domestically, while Love Dive happened around the time i-dle, BigBang, Red Velvet and PSY all had releases, and once again, longevity proved IVE’s popularity above others’. Personally, I’m not much concerned about charting, but I also believe that with the right song and promotion, IVE absolutely has the potential to truly shine among or even outshine all the big names that will/might comeback around the same time.
They seem to alternate between their light motivational side and their more experimental side. So I think the next comeback Im predicting will be more like Rebel Heart, Heya, and Attitude.
I do hope it’s a full album as I tend to like their b-sides a lot.
