    Hearing the full 6 member version of Back It Up just makes me wish Lay was at MMA even more.

    Moonlight Shadows is my favorite, but I like everything so far. The ones by Joombas are especially catchy (Touch and Go is an absolute earworm). It’s also nice to know that a Filipino was involved in this album (Cyrus Villanueva for Suffocate).

    Crown – I need a few more listens but ty for a full chorus, I’d much prefer SMP over a repetitive empty chorus. This reminds me of their darker title tracks, I’m kinda annoyed they don’t use this song for the last comeback when the whole group was present lol

    Back It Up – goes freaking hard I mean it sounds even better listening to it now vs their MMA performances, this song is addicting

    Crazy – This has title track potential, the guitar in the back goes crazy (no pun) lmao this is so groovy yet hype my god. On second listen yeah I wish this was the title track for but I understand why Crown was chosen

    Suffocate is so freaking good that pre and post chorus took me on a trip – I think my #1 favorite but maybe tied with Back Pocket

    Moonlight Shadows – I’m sorry but who does rnb like EXO? Based on the name alone I knew it would be good

    Back Pocket…outstanding production I love it so much- it’s a bit reminiscent of some of their older pop sounding songs. The harmonization on the chorus 👌🏻 the rap direction isn’t my FAV but I think it adds to the song

    Touch & Go – I’m going to flip my table lmao I love the beat, this is so peak EXO b-side coded. It reminds me of Private Party. Straight to my playlist

    Flatline – Damn I feel like I’m going to cry wtf I’m not even an exo-l but I’ve been here since their debut this feels like a good concert outro. I love the more rock band sound on this track. The production on this song is so good too. Chanyeol’s voice towards the end of the song omg

    I’m Home – this feels like it could sit on one of their winter albums, such a cozy vibe especially with the bells in the background. I think this was an appropriate album closer, this is prob my least fav track bc it pales in comparison to the rest of the album

    9.5/10 album it is so freaking solid, welcome back EXO 🙏🏼 Their full albums never misses, their A&R always does a good job selecting songs for them. But wow I kinda love this album more than EXIST (and this one was really good IMO). Docked points because CBX is missing 🥲

    Crazy is that song for me, instant favorite.

    And I really like Suffocate and Moonlight Shadows as well, on top of the already performed songs like I’m Home and Back It Up, and the TT.

    Back It Up – The amount of times I watched their performance and fancams ahhh I’m so glad I can finally break the speakers in my car!

    Crazy – BRIDGE!! HOLY SHIT THE CHANGE UP!!!! Yeah I will take a look at your SM life and yes it is crazy!

    Suffocate – wtf the intro and then OMG WTF! I ascended to another plane of existence at 2:36

    Moonlight Shadows – the harmonies and layering ahhhhh

    Back Pocket – The funkiness and falsetto

    Touch & Go – Vibier than Private Party

    Flatline – waiting for the full English translation because those English lines are absolutely WILD!

    I’m Home – See playlisting isn’t difficult, just put the beautiful emotional ballad at the end, I was already crying, because we finally have new EXO music, so this will just keep me dehydrated!

    With SM groups, I will always try to look on the bright side of things, and this album is definitely a bright side!! Solid release, with vocals that truly blessed my ears!

    Loving the album! Flatline is giving me 1D vibes. Other stand outs are Back Pocket and Touch & Go 🕺Can’t wait for more MVs!

    highly recommend listening to the album using ear/headphones!! there’s so much layerssss and harmonies in the melodies

    I’m enjoying this album a lot more than EXIST but I’d say the DFTF is still my favourite mini / album of theirs with LS/DMUMT a close second.

    First half of the album is insanely good. Loses momentum a little bit in the second half imo but overall really solid.

    Flatline, Crazy, Suffocate!!!! 🔥🔥🔥 

    I was surprised to not see a LDNNOISE or Kenzie track but I think it’s a solid album. They definitely tried to balance the more hard-hitting vs. softer songs. I really love Flatline 😭

    I love it, it has a much more open and warm sound than Exist did. The songs have a lot more room to breathe (in terms of the production and arrangements). I was worried after I’m Home that Lay would barely be on the album a la DFTF, but he has so many lines. And despite being a very classic experimental SM/EXO album it held together really well and flowed so nicely.

    maybe it just needs to grow on me, but i am not enjoying this one so much. i love the rnb sound of exo and this sounds more noise-ish to me. i sighed in relief when i heard Moonlight Shadows start with the warm drum pattern and synth sounds!! the pre-chorus in Crazy is such a great melody! with the piano embellishments in the back.

    This feels so much like the natural successor to the song EXO was doing in Obsession and there are a lot of returns to sounds the group hasn’t done in a while. I’m so pleased with this album, the production is excellent.

    This album is amazing!
