WOO!!! more specific actions!!! especially when the privacy violations + deepfake shit is truly getting out of hand. i dont think i’ve ever seen them point out these creatures by username before either, but they mentioned that this vigilance would continue in 2026 so hopefully they keep weeding out these folks batch by batch.
you cannot have shame to run accounts dedicated to destroying people you do not know but i cant imagine it doesn’t burn a little to be publicly referred to by a company this prominent… cheers to the day their names become public via lawsuit and they can no longer hide their inferiority behind a screen!

One of those accounts was absolutely ruthless last year with their hate against aespa. They were getting hit tweets off the most misogynistic shit imaginable. Serves them right

The explicit call-out of the accounts is something new, isn’t it?
These accounts were surely just the tip of the iceberg but it‘s nice to see some actual action.

A lot of people are doubtful of SME actually taking actions, but they’ve made specific updates few times, so they’re definitely trying to protect artists. Legally, it probably take time but it seems like they are checking the reports from fandoms.

A step towards the right direction – good to see.

Idk if any company has ever named accounts in these notices – wild that SM might be the first considering they haven’t done too much in the past.
I wonder why they’re being so aggressive now – are they finally fed up with all the hate Aespa and Riize have gotten? (Idk much about NCT Wish) Or, wishful thinking, but maybe they learned from ignoring Boa’s hate train which likely resulted in her leaving. No matter the reason, I hope they keep this energy.
