Soyeon in her Shuhua era lmao. Vocal line carries this song. It’s just alright ig. Was expecting something more impactful considering it’s been eight months since their last regular comeback. Looking forward to the album that’s allegedly coming soon.

Hum okay wow. Never really paid attention to them but this is kinda crazy. Not only meaningful and powerful in terms of message but the song and mv are actually crazy good as well. So impressed (and lowkey emotional !).

Oh the other post with like 90 comments got deleted lol. Love the song tho! The way Minnie pronounces mono in the chorus scratches my brain

I can’t even begin to explain how much this song means to me! When I first realized I was queer, I had so much internalized homophobia to work through and it was so hard for me to love myself. I wish I could show the past me both this song and the person I’ve become. It really is true that love is the answer.
Beyond the message, I just love the song itself — the beat is so good and I love how the singing compliments it by being more toned down and softer. The Skaiwater feature and narrative part after the bridge are also so good! I’m so happy with this song and comeback; now to see the choreo next!

Love the message but personally the way they get it across comes off as a bit cringey. But hey maybe itll grow on me like queencard

Honestly came here to see how people like skaiwaters feature, but this song will definetly be my big introduction to k-pop.

I was liking it until Skaiwater started singing/rapping (or whatever that was). Gosh, I love i-dle’s music and the girls to death, but what the hell was that?
Like, I’m genuinely so disappointed.

Not really a fan of the song but I always appreciate the message idle tries to deliver. I imagine this must’ve been what some people needed to hear and that’s great. Also, I’m glad they didn’t dance around the topic. Yes it’s a bit cheesy but I think the blunt lyrics were necessary.

man i love i-dle so much. they’re never afraid to say what they want
the song is really groovy and i like a lot about it. the message is great. although i probably won’t play this song a lot, if this is the direction they’re headed i’m all for it

I like it! Might even love once I give it a few more listens, at least the chorus got stuck in my head right away.

When two posts are created nearly at the same time, do you really have to kill the one with all the comments @ mods? Nuking the 100 comment post because this one was posted 5 seconds earlier is a little bit annoying.

Is this for some charity and the message got mixed up?
I’m looking at this on Itunes and there is an album containing two version of this song and its priced more than most other full albums. And the single buy itself is like a fraction of the album cost.

January has served such good music and this is no exception.

positioning “east or west”, “straight or gay”, right after “LEFT OR RIGHT” is sending me lmao they could not find a more neutral pairing in this political climate

Not sure why the upload with more upvotes and more comments was taken down.
Anyway, I’ll just repost my comment here: Given the theme of the lyrics, I think it would’ve been cool if the members sung at least one line in their native languages.

I was waiting for the high note but it never came :/ it’s a nice song but it sounds like a mediocre bside more than a TT

Like the song. Love the MV. Don’t like the feature.
Have to debate if I’ll add it to my playlist. That Miyeon run in the bridge makes it a strong contender.
If Soyeon covers the feature part, I hope they release that version.

10/10 for the message (even if not delivered in the best way), it’s commendable as we almost never see this in Kpop.
3/10 for the actual song. Bit boring.

Love the message, not so much the song arrangement and especially not the feature. Is this the first “lead single” release that didnt have a Soyeon rap? Its missing that :/ If they can even perform this on shows at all given the message(because lbr even though its a basic straight forward message, it might not go over well over there which is always a risk they take), the rapper isnt going to be with them to perform it so I guess Soyeon will do it but it seems like it might be a bit of a mess. Im hoping for another single and album announcement. Rooting for my girls <3 So proud of them for everything.
