  1. Hybe payola. We all know they added shows because they couldn’t sell out. /A big fat S.

Congrats to BTS. Totally expected and I cannot wait to see the tour.

Very nice! That’s a huge accomplishment especially considering more will be added. I’m hopeful that they’ll be adding more dates to the US cities that sold out. I saw a theory that the added ones from the last week were for the first leg, so it’s possible there’ll be more for the dates like Chicago that are in August.

  3. i just know its gonna be impossible to find resale for 09/01 😭 even the BST thread hasnt had more than like 2 listings

  4. I’m looking forward to being one of the 2+ million people who will get to see this leg of the tour. What an incredible gift BTS is giving us—41 dates and no dynamic pricing, to make sure as many of us can attend as possible.

insane shit. saw a tweet that says bighit didn’t prepare content this week because they assumed they had to promote selling the tickets. lmao

Congrats Kingtan! I was waiting for this official stats. I honestly wonder if HYBE underestimated demand if that’s even possible given the scale of this tour. Some observers are already projecting this tour to be a top 3 grossing tour of all time.

For me personally, the only recent ticketing experiences that compare were the Eras Tour and Oasis last year. BTS selling out newer markets like Baltimore and Foxboro is especially wild. For comparison, Bruno Mars and Ed Sheeran are touring Gillette around the same time and still have tickets available there.

This ticketing experience also highlighted a couple of things for me. 1) BTS has a massive global fanbase that actually moves (we already know that but it’s nice to see that this hasn’t slowed down post hiatus). 2) They also have a huge number of casual fans, which I think is often overlooked. The dominant narrative was that their success is fan driven. That’s not entirely true if we go by what we’ve witnessed so far.

It’s honestly surreal to see just how massive of a pop cultural force BTS has become. Doing all this post military is crazy.

  7. I’m so happy and thankful I was able to get tickets and that they didn’t turn on dynamic pricing! I cannot wait to see them live

  8. the 2.4 million is about only those concerts right is this without asia, australia and south america?

The snark sub sure lives in a different world because they were convincing themselves BTS was struggling to sell out and had to do weird marketing or something

Lord, I can’t believe we had to endure so many thinkpieces on how BTS would fall, post enlistment, like most other groups ONLY for them to double their reach.

Even recently there were many comments outright doubting their demand.

Firstly, I’m very, VERY happy that BigHit decided to turn off dynamic pricing. Although tickets were still pricey, they were not jaw-droppingly expensive. I think in planning this tour they prioritized accessibility for the fans – something that I hope carries over into the next stage of their tour, when they announce more stops. It’d be awesome if India and/or South Africa got some shows.

Secondly, is the UK not part of Europe?

cannot wait got tickets to see them in goyang and toronto and i’m way too excited to see them again!! also glad they have 2-3 week breaks planned for their tour so they can have their rest.

and NO DYNAMIC PRICING! I bet the guys themselves asked for this because we know what HYBE would do if left to their own devices.

I think they could easily to encore dates in all these cities and sell out again. So excited for the ARIRANG era! It feels like its going to be long and satisfying.

This is amazing!!! They’ve been so quiet but there is still so much hype for this tour. People have been waiting for them and it shows.

With a 360 stage design too, maximizing the capacity of the venues. The ticketing for this tour has been ruthless.

I’m literally so unsurprised. The only thing that surprises me is that anyone was surprised lol

  17. As one of the people who failed to get tickets, congrats to everyone!

Hopefully some resellers fall flat so I can selfishly buy tickets the week of hahaha

  18. I wish the official websites (ibighit and btstour) would show “sold out” instead of a “tickets” hyperlink that brings you to a sold out. It’s more clear for fans, and would look very satisfying

  19. Can’t believe certain second fandom was having mass psychosis and convincing each other that BTS had difficulties to sell their stadiums. Therapy is urgently needed lol

  20. I got in line to queue during the general sale, saw that there were 91 thousand people ahead of me in line, immediately knew I was cooked 😂
