I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of the different sounds in the music compared to the original (esp at the start my ear is not pleased).
Nothing to dislike about vocals, as expected.
And oh, Jiwoo, you ‘chaos’ baby. Proving this really is a first take haha.

I’m glad they chose Spinnin’ On It for the show because it really showcases their vocals. And it’s a crazy good song to begin with, it definitely deserves more recognition. They sang amazingly as expected. I’ma go watch it again.

Can’t help but feel they played it a bit safe with this arrangement. Or maybe that’s just how it sounds when they don’t have the echoing “so done with love, so done with hurt” vocals in the chorus. Usually it’s either NSWERs or backing vocals doing that part, and it just feels empty otherwise. Feel like they could’ve gone with more live supporting vocals and adlibs to make the performance sound fuller

Nice arrangement, that bass line is iconic. Love the little differences in this version. I did miss a final ‘heartache’ ad lib from Haewon (I think?)
