Hi guys, I’m pretty new to kpop, so I haven’t seen this before. Is it really $46 to watch a livestream of their performance and that’s it???

  1. It is what it is. Kpop is just really expensive. Even real live concerts. A few years ago Dreamcatcher was €100. I saw Slayer in the same venue and tickets were €50. $46 for a live stream is insane imo.

  2. Yes. Standard K-pop price tbh. I’m just happy they actually stream it. As an old wiz*one we used to salute other wiz*ones for illegally videostreaming while they were at the concert. Or just even listening through an audio stream. With no subtitles, just vibes.

    I’m just hoping there is a cooking stream tonight and won’t be caught like it was last night.

  3. TLDR: Is $46 expensive for a stream that has no VOD? Yes. Is it a quality stream? Yes.

    I brought ticket for today as I’m still heartbroken I couldn’t see the concert live.

    The stream includes;

    * 1-hour Pre-Chat where anyone else watching the stream can talk and LSFM members login to write a few things. (The chat is seemingly split amongst language groups so you won’t see Korean speakers in the chat for example). The video plays LSFM MVs while you wait.
    * High Quality Stream – the picture itself is fantastic. The audio is great too. Video Resolution: 1080p, 720p, 540p, 480p, 360p / AUTO – honestly I can’t get over how good the video quality was.
    * Subtitles in English, Japanese, and Chinese (Simplified) as well as machine-translated subtitles will be provided in Chinese (Traditional), Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and Tagalog.
    * Premium view of the concert, up close shots, crowd shots etc.
    * Options to re-watch the stream in “delayed streaming” if the timezone doesn’t match up (For example it was 9am my time for the live stream. delayed stream starts at 2am the next day).

    # Is it worth it?

    Really depends. It’s very expensive but if LSFM are unlikely to tour in your country (I’m UK based so the Easy, Crazy, Hot Tour did not visit here), this was my next best option to watch the whole show in high quality without having to download it illegally.

    + Ticket sales support the girls. If you have a community of LSFM fans, you feel part of the fun there too.

    The online stream was slightly cheaper this time around as well with Day 1 of the whole tour started at $49 in April while yesterday was $46.75. Hopefully this is a trend that will continue and the only streaming tickets get cheaper and cheaper.

  4. i usually split the cost with a friend since up to two separate users can watch at the same time. just need to change your weverse password or trust the person haha since they’ll need to use your account to watch.

  5. If you could watch it at your own convenience, and/or record your own copy for personal, I’d 1000% do it. Thats a fair price, WHEN those above conditions were met. Its rough when the timing is brutal and you have family and other things that may interfere. I used to record concerts (screen capture) but they make it so insane now it’s not worth the hassle. Truly a bummer.

    it’s actually crazy 😭 i wish hybe would parter with beyond live at least.

    i have paid for some beyond live streams in the past and it didn’t feel like highway robbery because they had a bunch of different camera angles and vod for all of them. (but then vlive shut down so i lost VOD access anyway 😅)
